Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Էստոնիայի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սվեն Միկսերին:

Հանդիպմանը զրուցակիցները երկուստեք գոհունակությամբ են արձանագրել, որ հայ եւ էստոնացի ժողովուրդների պատմական արմատներ ունեցող բարեկամության եւ փոխադարձ վստահության ու հարգանքի վրա կառուցված հարաբերությունները երկու երկրների միջեւ դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատումից ի վեր անցած 25 տարիներին վերընթաց զարգացում են ունեցել: Նախագահ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանը պատրաստակամ է ավելի ակտիվացնել եւ խորացնել քաղաքական երկխոսությունը ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ ձեւաչափերով, զարգացնել համագործակցությունը միջխորհրդարանական եւ միջկառավարական մակարդակներում, փոխադարձ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող մի շարք ոլորտներում:

Համակարծիք լինելով, որ փոխգործակցությանը պետք է նոր որակ հաղորդել, քանի որ այդ առումով ակնկալիքներն ու ներուժը բավականին մեծ են, Հանրապետության Նախագահը եւ Էստոնիայի արտգործնախարարն անդրադարձել են նաեւ Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն հարաբերություններին եւ զարգացման հեռանկարին:

Արտգործնախարար Սվեն Միկսերը հույս է հայտնել, որ ԵՄ-ում Էստոնիայի առաջիկա նախագահության շրջանակներում կստորագրվի ՀՀ-ԵՄ Համապարփակ եւ ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագիրը: Հանդիպման ժամանակ նախարար Միկսերը Նախագահին ներկայացրել է ԵՄ-ում Էստոնիայի նախագահության առաջնահերթությունները:

Զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել տարածաշրջանային խնդիրների եւ մարտահրավերների, ԼՂ հիմնահարցի կարգավորման գործընթացի շուրջ: Էստոնիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սվեն Միկսերն ընդգծել է, որ Էստոնիան ամբողջությամբ սատարում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ջանքերին՝ ուղղված Ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորմանը:
