Շառլ Ազնավուրը հյուրընկալվել է Le Club de Richard Findykian ռադիոհաղորդաշարին, որի ընթացքում պատմել է Հայաստան կատարած այցի, որդու՝ Նիկոլայի մկրտության, ինչպես նաեւ այն մասին, որ իր Pour toi Arménie երգը կարող է Հայաստանի նոր օրհներգը դառնալ:
 
«Իմ բոլոր երեխաները հայկական եկեղեցում են մկրտվել, Նիկոլան բացառություն չէր: Նիկոլան Հայաստանում մկրտվեց եւ իմ հոր անունն ընտրեց (Միքայել): Մկրտության ընթացքում ես մտածում էի իմ ծնողների մասին, ընդհանրապես ես նրանց մասին մշտապես մտածում եմ: Հայերը սիրում են երեխաներին ու մեծերին»,- նշել է Ազնավուրը: Շանսոնյեն պատմել է նաեւ «Ազնավուր» հիմնադրամի ստեղծման մասին:
 
«Բոլոր հարցերով Նիկոլան է զբաղվում, նրա մոտ ամեն ինչ շատ լավ է ստացվում: Այդ հիմնադրամն օգնելու է ամբողջ աշխարհի հայերին: «Ազնավուր» հիմնադրամի առաջին նախագիծը թանգարանի հիմնումն է, որը ոչ միայն ինտերակտիվ թանգարան, այլեւ երիտասարդական կենտրոն, զբոսաշրջային վայր է դառնալու: Հիմնադրամը զբաղվելու է երիտասարդությամբ, որպեսզի նրանք չհեռանան երկրից, այլ կարողանան իրացնել իրենց կարողությունները հայրենիքում, ընտանիքով շրջապատված: Առավել եւս, որ Հայաստանն այժմ վտանգի մեջ է՝ հաշվի առնելով, որ սահմանակից ենք Թուրքիային եւ Ադրբեջանին»,- պատմել է շանսոնյեն:
 
Ազնավուրը նաեւ նշել է, որ կցանկանար, որպեսզի իր Pour toi Arménie երգը Հայաստանի նոր օրհներգը դառնար:
 
«Հայաստանի այժմյան օրհներգն առանձնապես ոչինչ չի ասում եւ, հնարավոր է, Pour toi Arménie-ն նոր օրհներգը դառնա: Դա այն է, ինչ ես ուզում եմ: Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը համաձայն է ինձ հետ, եւ ոչ միայն նա»,- հավելել է Ազնավուրը:
