Թբիլիսիում մայիսի 27-29-ը անցկացվել է ՆԱՏՕ խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի գարնանային նստաշրջանը, որին մասնակցել է ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի պատվիրակությունը` պաշտպանության, ազգային անվտանգության և ներքին գործերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Կորյուն Նահապետյանի գլխավորությամբ:
ՀՀ ներկայացուցիչները մասնակցել են նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում կայացած պաշտպանության և անվտանգության, քաղաքական և ֆինանսական հանձնախմբերի աշխատանքներին, ներկայացրել ՀՀ դիրքորոշումը տարածաշրջանային և աշխարհաքաղաքական զարգացումների առնչությամբ:
Վեհաժողովի ընթացքում ՀՀ ներկայացուցիչների կողմից պատշաճ հակահարված է եղել նաև Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության որոշ պատգամավորների սադրիչ և ապակողմնորոշիչ հայտարարություններին, իրականությունը նենգափոխող ելույթներին, ինչն արժանացել է միջազգային լսարանի հավանությանը և դրական արձագանքին: Ընդսմին, վեհաժողովի քննարկումների բովանդակությանը և ոգուն անհամապատասխան հակահայ քարոզչության փորձերը ձախողվել են և ադրբեջանական կողմի համար առավելապես ունեցել ինքնավարկաբեկման դեր:
Թբիլիսիում պատվիրակությունն ուղեկցվել է վեհաժողովի նստաշրջանին որպես դիտորդ մասնակցած ՀՀ դեսպանության աշխատակիցների կողմից, այցելել պատմաճարտարապետական տեսարժան վայրեր:
