Ավստրիայի սոցիալ-դեմոկրատները Վիեննայի մունիցիպալ ընտրություններում առաջ են անցել «Ազատություն» ծայրահեղ աջ կուսակցությունից: Նախնական արդյունքները վկայում են, որ ձախ կենկրոնամետ կուսակցությունն ստացել Է ձայների շուրջ 39 տոկոսը, ինչը 5 տոկոսով պակաս Է, քան 2010 թվականին կայացած նախորդ ընտրություններում, տեղեկացնում Է«Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
«Ազատություն» կուսակցությունը, որը պայքարի մեջ Է մտել զանգվածային միգրացիայի հետ կապված երկյուղների ֆոնին, ընդհակառակը, 5 տոկոսով բարելավել Է իր արդյունքը՝ ընդհանուր առմամբ ստանալով ձայների մոտավորապես 31 տոկոսը:
Ընտրությունների արդյունքները նշանակում են, որ սոցիալ-դեմոկրատները կկարողանան առաջվա պես գլխավորել կառավարող կոալիցիան: Սպասվում Է, որ նրանք դաշինք կկազմեն Կանաչների կուսակցության հետ, որը հավաքել Է ձայների շուրջ 12 տոկոսը:
Ծայրահեղ աջերը, ըստ նախնական հաշվարկների, ընտրություններում լավագույն արդյունքն են ցույց տվել միգրանտների կտրուկ աճի հետ կապված երկյուղների եւ տնտեսության վիճակի պատճառով:
Տասնյակ միգրանտներ, որոնք ուղեւորվում են Գերմանիա, վերջին շաբաթներին անցել են Վիեննայով, նրանցից շատերը դիմել են Ավստրիայում ապաստան ստանալու խնդրանքով:
