ԵԿՄ վարչության նախագահ, Արցախի հերոս, Զորավար Մանվել Գրիգորյանի եւ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանի մասնակցությամբ տեղի ունեցավ եռասերունդ Երկրապահի ճամբարային սեզոնի բացման պաշտոնական արարողությունը։ Ճամբարի աշխատանքները փաստացի վերսկսվել են մայիսի 22-ից։ Գեղարքունիքի մարզի գեղատեսիլ անտառում գտնվող ճամբարն այս տարի կունենա 14 հերթափոխ։ Ընդհանուր առմամբ սեզոնի ընթացքում ճամբարում ուսումնամարզական վարժանքները ամառային հանգստի հետ կզուգահեռեն Երեւանի բոլոր վարչական շրջանների, ՀՀ բոլոր տարածքների, Արցախի բոլոր շրջանների մոտ 6 000 պատանի երկրապահ։ Ճամբարում կհյուրընկալվեն նաեւ սփյուռքահայ երեխաներ, սոցիալապես անապահովներ։ Պատանիների կողքին ճամբարում լինում են երիտասարդ եւ ավագ սերնդի երկրապահներ։ Այս ամենի հաշվառմամբ՝ ընթացիկ տարվա ընթացքում երկրապահական ճամբարում կհանգստանան մոտ 7 000 մարդ։ Ճամբարային վարժանքները հրամանատարասերժանտական դասընթացների հերթական փուլ են։ Այստեղ կան բոլոր հարմարությունները կրակային, շարային պարապմունքների, հոգեւոր դասերի, առաջին բուժօգնության, արտակարգ իրավիճակների դասընթացների համար։ ճամբարում պատանիների հետ կամավորական սկզբունքներով աշխատում են տարբեր մարզաձեւերի լավագույն մասնագետներ՝ շախմատ, թաեքվոնդո, դուքենդո, նետաձգություն, ձիասպորտ, ֆուտբոլ եւ այլն։ Բացման արարողությունը, երկրապահական ավանդույթների ոգով, մեկնարկեց ՀՀ պետական եւ ԵԿՄ օրհներգերի հնչեցմամբ եւ հոգեւոր հոր օրհնանքի խոսքով։ Ապա ելույթ ունեցան երեք սերունդների երկրապահներ։ Ողջույնի խոսք ուներ նաեւ նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը։ Նա հատուկ ընդգծեց, որ «Պատանի երկրապահը» կայացած կառույց է, զարգանում է ճիշտ ուղղությամբ, ինչի ապացույցն էր նաեւ «Ազգ-բանակ» համաժողովում այս կառույցների սաների արձանագրած բացարձակ հաջողությունը։
