Առաջնությունն ստացվել է. Արմեն Աշոտյանը պարգևատրեց շախմատի Եվրոպայի համալսարանական առաջին խաղերի հաղթողներին

Երևանում ավարտվեցին առաջին Եվրոպական ուսանողական շախմատային խաղերը, պարգևատրման արարողությանը ներկա էր ՀՀ կրթության և գիտության նախարար Արմեն Աշոտյանը:

«Սա Հայաստանի նախաձեռնությունն էր` անցկացնել Եվրոպական համալսարանական շախմատի առաջին առաջնությունը: Իհարկե, ամբիցիոզ նախաձեռնություն էր` հաշվի առնելով, որ մենք բոլորովին վերջերս ենք անդամակցում Եվրոպական համալսարանական մարզական ասոցիացիային: Բայց միանգամից հանդես եկանք մեր առաջարկով: Ի ուրախություն մեզ, առաջարկությունն ընդունվել էր: Շախմատը Հայաստանի ազգային հպարտության և պատության բնութագրիչներից մեկն է: Պետք է փաստենք, որ առաջնությունը ստացվել է : Դրա մասին խոսում է Եվրոպական համալսարանական մարզական ֆեդերացիայի ղեկավարուÕ �յունը: Իհարկե, մենք առաջին տեղում չենք, իհարկե այդ տեսակետից բավարարված չեմ, բայց ունենք երկրորդ մրցանակային տեղ»,- լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Աշոտյանը:

Նախարարն անձամբ պարգևատեց թիմային պայքարում հաղթած մասնակիցներին: Տղամարդկանց թիմային պայքարում առաջին տեղում Ռուսաստանի թիմն էր, երկրորդ տեղում՝ Ֆիզիկական կուլտուրային հայկական պետական ինստիտուտը և երրորդ տեղում՝ Լեհաստանը: Անհատական պայքարում տղամարդկանցից լավագույնը Սանան Սյուգիրովն էր, իսկ աղջկներից՝ Դարիա Պուսովոյտովան, երկուսն էլ ներկայացնում են Ռուսաստանը:

Աղջիկների պայքարում մրցաշարին մասնակցում էին 24, իսկ տղամարդկանց պայքարում 43 մարզիկներ:
