Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանը Եվրոպայում ռազմական ծախսերն ավելացնելու անհրաժեշտություն է տեսնում

Միջազգային և անվտանգության հարցերի հայկական ինստիտուտի փորձագետ Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանը գտնում է, որ Եվրոպան պետք է ավելի ակտիվ լինի Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքում և մեծացնի ծախսերը ռազմական բաղադրիչում: Հունիսի 2-ին կայացած քննարկման ժամանակ փորձագետն ընդգծեց, որ Եվրոպան արդեն սկսել է ավելացնել ռազմական ոլորտի ծախսերը` լավ գիտակցելով, որ անվտանգության սպառանալիքներն առաջին հերթին ուղղված են հենց իրեն՝ Եվրոպային: «Այստեղ կա գիտակցումը, որ սպառնալիքներն առաջին հերթին հենց Եվրոպային են ուղղված: Նրանք հասկանում են սա և արդեն սկսել են քայլեր ձեռնարկել ռազմական ոլորտի ծախսերը մեծացնելու ուղղությամբ»,- ընդգծեց Մեհրաբյանը:

Փորձագետը հատկանշական է համարում այն հանգամանքը, որ վերջին շրջանում տեսնում ենք ամերիկյան զինված ուժերի շատ կարևոր ստորաբաժանումների վերադարձը Եվրոպա: «Այսօր մենք տեսանք ինֆորմացիա, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիա են ուղարկվել ռազմավարական ռմբակոծիչներ»,- նշեց նա:

Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանն այն կարծիքին է, որ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը փորձել է որևէ կերպ պառակտում մտցնել յոթնյակի երկրների միջև, սակայն դա նրան չի հաջողվել: Արդյունքում Արևմուտքի պատժամիջոցները Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ շարունակվելու են:

Անդրադառնալով Իրանի նկատմամբ Արևմուտքի վարած քաղաքականությանը՝ փորձագետը նշեց, որ այս հարցում ԱՄՆ-ի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև ակնհայտ հակասություններ կան: «Իրանում նախագահի պաշտոնում Ռոհանիի վերընտրությունը շատ մեծ կանխատեսելիություն է մտցնում իրանական քաղաքականության մեջ և մեծացնում է հնարավորությունները, որ այդ երկիրը կշարունակի Արևմուտքի հետ հարաբերությունները խորացնելու քաղաքականությունը: Սակայն այստեղ, հաշվի առնելով ԱՄՆ-ի հռետորաբանությունը և դիրքորոշումը, տեսանելի ապագայում լուրջ փոփոխություններ ես չեմ ակնկալում»,- եզրափակեց Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանը:
