ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հունիսի 2-ին ընդունել է Գերմանիայի խոշորագույն մշակութային հաստատության՝ Գյոթեի ինստիտուտի նախագահ Կլաուս-Դիթեր Լեհմանին: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանրապետության Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրին և հույս հայտնել, որ պարոն Լեհմանի այցը Հայաստան նոր սկիզբ կդառնա հայ-գերմանական կրթամշակութային համագործակցության զարգացման և այդպիսով նաև երկկողմ միջպետական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման համար: Նշելով, որ այս տարի Հայաստանը և Գերմանիան նշում են դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 25-ամյակը` Նախագահ Սարգսյանը գոհունակությամբ է փաստել, որ անցած այդ տարիների ընթացքում հայ-գերմանական հարաբերությունները միայն վերընթաց զարգացում են ունեցել՝ հաստատվել է բարձր մակարդակի քաղաքական երկխոսություն, ձևավորվել են կայուն միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերություններ, հաջողությամբ զարգանում են առևտրատնտեսական կապերը, համագործակցությունը կրթության, մշակույթի ոլորտներում և ապակենտրոնացված մակարդակում: Այդ ամենը, Հանրապետության Նախագահի համոզմամբ, լավ հիմք է խթանելու Հայաստանում գերմաներենի առավել խորացված ուսուցումը, ինչն էլ իր հերթին կնպաստի փոխշահավետ բոլոր ոլորտներում երկկողմ կապերի ամրապնդմանը:

Այդ համատեքստում զրուցակիցները քննարկել են 2009 թվականից Հայաստանում գործող Գերմաներենի ուսուցման կենտրոնին զուգահեռ գերմաներենի տարածմանը նպաստող այլ հնարավորությունների, այդ թվում՝ Գյոթեի ինստիտուտի կենտրոնի հիմնման հարցը: Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել նման լուծման հանգելու դեպքում պետության կողմից աջակցություն ցուցաբերելու այդ նախաձեռնության իրականացմանը: 

Կլաուս-Դիթեր Լեհմանը վստահեցրել է, որ Գյոթեի ինստիտուտը լավագույն ջանքը կներդնի Հայաստանի հետ համագործակցությունը զարգացնելու համար:
