Որքան մոտենում 2018-ի ապրիլը, այնքան քննարկումները շատանում են Սարգսյանի հետագա ճակատագրի շուրջ։ Թերևս, տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ Սարգսյանի ճակատագիրը հետաքրքրում է բոլորին, բացի հենց իրենից ՝ Սարգսյանից։ Չնայած լավ կլիներ, որ մարդիկ, մինչ Սարգսյանի ճակատագրով մտահոգվելը, զբաղվեին սեփական ճակատագրով, որն այնքան մշուշոտ է այս Հայաստանում։

Դեռ լայն քննարկման կարժանանա Սարգսյանի այսպես ասած Ազգային համաձայնության կառավարությունը։ Բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերից, միայն ՀԱԿ-ն է, որ այս հարցում հստակ է արտահայտվել։ Սարգսյանի կամ հանրապետականի հետ, որևէ համաձայնություն չի կարող լինել։ Միակ դեպքը, որ կլինի համագործակցություն, դա արտաքին ագրեսիայի պարագան է, այն էլ, անկախ այն հանգամանքից, թե ով կլինի Բաղրամյանում։ Անցյալ ապրիլյանի ժամանակ, ՀԱԿ-ը ցույց տվեց իր խոսքերի ճշմարտացիությունը։

Մնացածը կարծես դեմ չեն Սարգսյանի վարչապետ լինելուն։ Չնայած Սարգսյանը մի քանի անգամ հայտարարել է, որ չի ուզում դառնալ վարչապետ, բայց ո՞վ իմանա, միևնույնն է, նա հիմնականում իր խոստումները չի պահում։

Անկեղծ ասած, այս վիճակը կամ պարզապես կուսակցության «գենսեկ» մնալն էլ պակաս կոմֆորտ չէ Սարգսյանի համար։ Նա երկրի գլխավոր մարմին է գործուղել իրեն ենթակա ու հլու հնազանդ ծառայող երիտ կարիերիստներին։ Դրանից ելնելով, ինչպես նաև աշխատեցնելով խորհրդային «դոսյեների» համակարգը, Սերժ Սարգսյանը լիակատար հսկողություն ունի իր բոլոր կադրերի նկատմամբ։ Այսինքն, որևէ ընդվզման հույս, կարող ենք չունենալ։

Մյուս կողմից, Սարգսյանի իրավաբանները հաստատ կարող են բաց ճարել, որպեսզի նա ևս յոթ տարով դառնա ՀՀ նախագահ։Առավել ևս, որ նախագահական պալատին սովոր է, իսկ իրավական առումով էլ, նոր Սահմանադրություն է և նոր օրենքներ։

Ամփոփելով ասվածը, կարող ենք պնդել, որ գոնե խորհրդարանական միջավայրում, Սարգսյանը հակառակորդներ չունի։ Ավելին, բոլորը հնազանդ են նրան, իսկ դիրքերը, ավելի ուժեղ, քան հիմա, երբեք չի եղել։
