Երեւանում կայացած Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության նախարարական համաժողովի ժամանակ հերթական անգամ ակնհայտ դարձավ, որ  Հայաստանը մեծ կարեւորություն է հատկացնում Ֆրանկոֆոնիային եւ նրա արժեքներին: Արմենպրես-ի փոխանցմամբ` համաժողովի ավարտին կայացած ասուլիսի ժամանակ ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանն ասաց, ո ր Հայաստանը վերահաստատեց իր հանձնառությունը եւ համագործակցության, եւ փոխանակության  լայն տարածքի նկատամամբ: «Բովանդակալից եւ արգասաբեր քննարկումներ են եղել: Ֆրանկոֆոնիան խաղաղության, երկխոսության եւ բազմազանության տարածք է»,- ասաց Նալբանդյանը` հավելելով, որ Հայաստանը շարունակելու է աշխատել ի նպաստ Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի զարգացման:

Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության գլխավոր քարտուղար Միկայել Ժանն  էլ նշեց, որ Երեւան գալով գտել են մի երկիր, որտեղ պատմության զարկերակը ուժեղ է բաբախում: «Այսօր առավոտյան քայլեցինք դեպի Ծիծեռնակաբերդ` հիշատակի եւ հիշողության վայր, որը հիշեցնում է մեզ այն ցավը, որ ապրել է հայ ժողովուրդը, եւ որի հուշակոթողի սլաքը խորհրդանշում է ժողովրդի միավորող ուժն ու եռանդը դեպի ապագա: Այս ամենին մենք միանում ենք, մենք Հայատանի ցավի եւ տառապանքի մասնակիցն ենք, քանի որ այստեղ վերագտնում ենք մեր ցավը: Մենք վերագտնում ենք նաեւ մեր ուժը, որը ճառագում է այստեղ: Սա է Հայաստանի բացառիկ դերը Ֆրանկոֆոնիայում»,- ասաց Միկայել Ժանը:
