Երևանի քաղաքապետ, Երևանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Տարոն Մարգարյանի աջակցությամբ արդեն երրորդ անգամ մայրաքաղաքում անց է կացվում շախմատի օլիմպիական չեմպիոն, միջազգային կարգի գրոսմայստեր Կարեն Ասրյանի հիշատակին նվիրված շախմատի դպրոցականների համաքաղաքային հուշամրցաշարը: Երևանի հ. 171 հիմնական դպրոցում հուշամրցաշարի փակման հանդիսավոր արարողությանը ներկա են գտնվել Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը! , Հայաստանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի առաջին տեղակալ Սմբատ Լպուտյանը, ինչպես նաև Կարեն Ասրյանի ծնողները:  Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Շախմատի դպրոցականների համաքաղաքային հուշամրցաշարում առաջին հորիզոնականը զբաղեցրել են Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա, իսկ երկրորդ և երրորդ տեղերը Նոր Նորք և Արաբկիր վարչական շրջանների թիմերը: Մյուս վարչական շրջանների թիմերն էլ արժանացել են Երևանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի պատվոգրերի:

Հուշամրցաշարի հաղթող Մալաթիա-Սեբաստիա վարչական շրջանի թիմին հանձնելով գավաթներն ու մեդալները, Երևանի քաղաքապետ, Երևանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Տարոն Մարգարյանը մաղթել է նորանոր հաջողություններ ու ձեռքբերումներ:

Հարկ է նշել, որ Շախմատի օլիմպիական չեմպիոն, միջազգային կարգի գրոսմայստեր Կարեն Ասրյանի հիշատակին նվիրված շախմատի դպրոցականների համաքաղաքային հուշամրցաշարին մասնակցել են մինչև 8 տարեկան 48 դպրոցականներ, որոնք ներկայացրել են մայրաքաղաքի բոլոր 12 վարչական շրջանները: Նշենք նաև, որ փոքրիկ շախմատասերները մայրաքաղաքի վարչական շրջաններում գործող շախմատի դպրոցների սաներ են:
