Ամստերդամից Սեուլ մեկնող ինքնաթիռում Կորեայի Հանրապետության (ԿՀ) դատախազության ներկայացուցիչների կողմից ձերբակալվել Է երկրի նախկին նախագահի մտերիմ ընկերուհու՝ Չխվե Սուն Սիլի դուստրը՝ Չոն Յու Ռան: Այդ մասին հայտնել Է հսկիչ գերատեսչությունը:

«Հարավային Կորեա ժամանելուց հետո Չոն Յու Ռան կտեղափոխվի հետաննչական կենտրոն, որտեղ կկայանա նրա հարցաքննությունը»,-նշվում Է հաղորդագրության մեջ: Ավելի վաղ Դանիայի իշխանությունները, որտեղ թաքնվում Էր կինը, որոշում Էին ընդունել նրան Հարավային Կորեային արտահանձնելու մասին: Քննիչները Չոն Յու Ռային արտահանձնելու պահանջը հիմնավորել Էին երկրի նախկին նախագահ Պակ Կըն Հեի շրջապատում հարուցված կոռուպցիայի գործով նրան հարցաքննելու անհրաժեշտությամբ:

20-ամյա Չոն Յու Ռային հունվարի 1-ին բռնել Էին դանիական Օլբորգ քաղաքում միջազգային կալանագրի հիման վրա, որն Ինտերպոլի կողմից տրվել Էր հարավկորեական իշխանությունների պահանջով: Հայրենիքում Չոն Յու Ռային կասկածում են այն բանում, որ նա համալսարան Է ընդունվել՝ շրջանցելով սահմանված կանոնները եւ կարող Էր մորն օգնել իրականացնելու տարբեր խարդախ սխեմաներ: Չոն Յու Ռան ինքը բոլոր մեղադրանքները մերժում Է: Չխվե Սուն Սիլն անցյալ տարի Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում բորբոքված կոռուպցիոն սկանդալի հիմնական ֆիգուրանտն Է: Հետաքննությունը պարզել Է, որ նա, չզբաղեցնելով պետական որեւԷ պաշտոն, տեղյակ Է եղել պետական կառավարման մանրամասներին եւ միջամտել Է բարձր մակարդակով քաղաքական որոշումների ընդունման ընթացքին, ներառյալ նախարարների նշանակումը եւ ԿԺԴՀ-ի հետ առճակատման սաստկացումը:

Բացի այդ, Չխվե Սուն Սիլը, օգտվելով իր ազդեցությունից, մի շարք հարավկորեական կորպորացիաների հարկադրել Է բազմամիլիոնանոց նվիրատվություններ անել իր հետ կապված հիմնադրամներին՝ Mir-ին եւ K-Sports-ին, ինչի արդյունքում այդ ֆինանսական կազմակերպություններն ստացել են 80 մլրդ վոն (72 մլն դոլար): Դատախազությունը Չխվե Սուն Սիլին խարդախության մեղադրանքով բռնել Է 2016 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 31-ին, իսկ նոյեմբերի 3-ին Սեուլի շրջանային դատարանը նրա ձերբակալման կալանագիր Է տվել:

2016 թվականի դեկտեմբերին ԿՀ-ի խորհրդարանը հայտարարել Էր Պակ Կըն Հեի պաշտոնազրկման մասին, իսկ 2017 թվականի մարտի 10-ին այդ որոշումը հաստատել Է երկրի Սահմանադրական դատարանը: Մարտի 31-ին նախկին նախագահը ձերբակալվել Է եւ տեղափոխվել հետաքննչական մեկուսարան: Նա մեղադրվում Է, մասնավորապես, կոռուպցիայի, պաշտոնական լիազորությունների վերազանցման, կաշառաշորթության եւ պետական գաղտնիքների հրապարակման մեջ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
