Ռուբեն վարդապետ Զարգարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

- Այս առակն էլ լսեցե՛ք։ Կալվածատեր մի մարդ կար, որ մի այգի տնկեց, չորս կողմից ցանկապատեց այն, հնձանի համար փոս փորեց և աշտարակ շինեց, ապա այն վարձու տվեց մշակների, իսկ ինքը մեկնեց ուրիշ երկիր։ Երբ այգեկութի ժամանակը հասավ, իր ծառաներին ուղարկեց մշակների մոտ՝ բերքից իր բաժինն առնելու։
Մշակները, նրա ծառաներին բռնելով, մեկին ծեծեցին, մեկին սպանեցին, իսկ մյուսին էլ քարկոծեցին։ Այգու տերը դարձյալ ծառաներ ուղարկեց՝ թվով ավելի, քան նախկինները, բայց սրանց էլ նույն բանն արեցին։ Վերջում իր որդուն ուղարկեց նրանց մոտ՝ մտածելով. «Թերևս իմ որդուց քաշվեն»։ Բայց մշակները, երբ տեսան որդուն, իրենց մտքում ասացին. «Սա է ժառանգը, եկեք սպանենք սրան, որպեսզի տիրանանք նրա ժառանգությանը»։ Եվ բռնելով նրան՝ այգուց դուրս հանեցին ու սպանեցին։
Ապա Հիսուսը հարցրեց.
- Արդ, երբ այգու տերը գա, ի՞նչ կանի այդ մշակներին։
Նրանք պատասխանեցին.
- Այդ չար մշակներին անկասկած կսպանի և այգին վարձու կտա ուրիշ մշակների, որոնք նրա բերքի բաժինը նրան կտան իր ժամանակին։

Հիսուսը նրանց ասաց.
- Սուրբ գրքերում երբևէ չե՞ք կարդացել.
«Այն քարը, որ շինարարները մերժեցին գործածել, նա՛ անկյունաքար եղավ. Տերը կատարեց այս, և մեր աչքին սքանչելի է»։
Դրա համար ասում եմ ձեզ, որ ձեզնից կվերցվի Աստծու արքայությունը և կտրվի այն ժողովրդին, որ պտղաբեր կդարձնի այն։ Ով որ այդ քարին բախվի, պիտի խորտակվի, և ում վրա որ այն ընկնի, պիտի ճզմի նրան։
Երբ ավագ քահանաները, Օրենքի ուսուցիչները և փարիսեցիները լսեցին այս առակները, հասկացան, որ իրենց համար ասաց։ Նրանք ուզում էին ձերբակալել Հիսուսին, բայց վախեցան ժողովրդից, որն իբրև մարգարեի էր ընդունում նրան։
