Մեծ Յոթնյակի գագաթնաժողովին մասնակցող ամենահարուստ, զարգացած երկրների յոթ առաջնորդներից չորս եվրոպացիներն ու Ճապոնիայի վարչապետը չունեն իրենց բիոլոգիական երեխաները՝ գրում է Washington Post թերթը, բոլորովին նոր լույսի տակ դիտարկելով հատկապես Եվրոպայում առկա դեմոգրաֆիական պատկերը և նկատելով, որ, ասես, իրենց առաջնորդներին հետևելով՝ եվրոպացիները դադարել են ծնել:
 
Իսկապես. Գերմանիայի կանցլեր, կրթությամբ ֆիզիկոս Անգելա Մերկելը, որ երկրորդ անգամ է ամուսնացել իր ներկայի ամուսնու՝ Յոահիմ Զաուերի հետ, նրա հետ ընդհանուր երեխաներ չունի, թեպետ գերմանացիներից Mutti՝ մայրիկ անունն է ստացել:
 
Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյը, որ մասնագիտությամբ աշխարհագրագետ է, 61 տարեկան, նույնպես երեխաներ չունի, չնայած՝ դեռ ութսունականներին է ամուսնացել բանկային գործի մասնագետ Ֆիլիպ Մեյի հետ: Ֆրանսիայի երիտասարդ նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը, որ ամուսնացած է իրենից 24 տարով մեծ նախկին ուսուցչուհու հետ, նույնպես երեխաներ չունի և հոգ է տանում բացառապես կնոջ երեք երեխաների ու նրա թոռնիկների համար:
 
Գուցե իտալացիների դեպքում մի քիչ արտասովոր թվա, բայց Իտալիայի 63–ամյա վարչապետ Պաոլո Ջենտիլոնին նույնպես անպտուղների շարքում է: Մյուս կողմից էլ՝ ազնվական հռոմեական ընտանիքից սերող ու մասնագիտությամբ լրագրող վարչապետն այնքան տարբեր է իր տաքարյուն հայրենակիցներից, որ նրան պարոն Սառնություն են կոչում:
Դա՞ է նրա անժառանգ լինելու պատճառը, թե՝ բիոլոգիան, չենք կարող ասել, բայց փաստ է, որ Ճապոնիայի վարչապետ Սինձո Աբեն էլ է համալրել իր եվրոպացի «անպտուղ» գործընկերների շարքերը: Աբեն էլ երեխաներ չունի, և ինչպես Ճապոնիայում են սիրում կատակել՝ հենց դրա համար էլ կրկնակի ամուր ճապոնական նյարդեր ունի:
Այդ դեպքում ով ասես, ամուր նյարդեր կունենա՝ հակադարձում են Հյուիսային Ամերիկայում, ինչ–որ առումով նույնիսկ հպարտանալով, որ Մեծ Յոթնյակում միայն ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն է հինգ, իսկ Կանադայի վարչապետ Տրյուդոն՝ երեք զավակների հայր:
 
Ուղիղն ասած՝ հպարտանալու բան է: Հատկապես այն դեպքում, երբ Եվրոպան գնալով ծերանում է, իսկ առկա միգրացիայի պայմաններում յուրաքանչյուր եվրոպացի կնոջը հազիվ մի երեխա է բաժին ընկնում: Այս պարագայում անհնար է Washington Post–ի նման չտագնապել՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիթ Էրդողանի խոսքերը հիշելով, որն իր հայրենակիցներին, այսպես ասած, Եվրոպայի soft power–ը՝ փափուկ ուժն էր դիտարկել:
 
«Դիմում եմ Եվրոպայում բնակվող մեր եղբայրներին. այն երկիրը, որտեղ հիմա ապրում և աշխատում եք, ձեր նոր հայրենիքն է: Ավելի շատ սատար կանգնեք իրար, ավելի շատ գործ հիմնեք, ձեր երեխաներին ավելի լավ դպրոցներ տարեք: Ձեր ընտանիքներն ավելի լավ տեղերում բնակեցրեք, ապրեք ամենալավ տներում, վարեք ամենալավ ավտոմեքենաները: Ունեցեք ոչ թե 3, այլ 5 երեխա, քանի որ Եվրոպայի ապագան դուք եք»,– ասել էր Էրդողանը…
