Բոլոր պատերազմներում եւ զանգվածային սպանություններում մեղավոր են երկրների կառավարությունները. Թոմ Քաթինա

Ժամանակակից աշխարհում տեղի ունեցող բոլոր պատերազմներում եւ զանգվածային սպանություններում մեղավոր են երկրների կառավարությունները։ Նման կարծիք է հայտնել «Ավրորա» մրցանակի դափնեկիր, բժիշկ Թոմ Քաթինան՝ մայիսի 29-ին, «Թումո» տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոնում իր ելույթի ժամանակ։
Պատասխանելով կենտրոնի աշակերտուհիներից մեկի հարցին, որի նախնիները Ցեղասպանություն են վերապրել, Թոմ Քաթինան նշել է, որ աշխարհում քիչ չեն երկրները, որտեղ կառավարությունը սպանում է սեփական քաղաքացիներին։ Սուդանը, որտեղ աշխպատում է բժիշկը, նման երկրներից մեկն է։ Վերջին տարիներին Սուդանն այլ երկրների հետ չի պատերազմել, սակայն քաղաքացիական պատերազմները երկրում 2 մլն կյանք են խլել։ Սուդանը կարող էր հարուստ երկիր լինել, սակայն ժողովուրդն այնտեղ ապրում է ծայրահեղ աղքատության մեջ, այնինչ իշխող վերնախավը հարուստ է։
Քաթինայի խոսքով՝ նման երկրի մեկ այլ օրինակ է Կոնգոն, որտեղ «կառավարությունն ակտիվորեն սպանում է իր քաղաքացիներին»։ Բժշկի գործընկերներից մեկը եւս սպանվել է Կոնգոյում։ Բժիշկը համարում է, որ այդ երկրում կառավարությունը հետաքրքրված է միայն սեփական հարստությամբ։ Սովորական մարդիկ նրանց չեն հուզում, այդ պատճառով էլ կառավարությունը բոլոր փողերը ծախսում է իր, այլ ոչ թե առողջապահության կամ երկրի այլ կարիքների համար։
Իսկ ո՞վ կարող է այդ երկրներում դադարեցնել պատերազմները, կոտորածն ու սպանությունները։
Քաթինայի կարծիքով, ԱՄՆ-ի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Չինաստանի ու Ճապոնիայի վերնախավերը կարողանում են ազդել այլ երկրներում տիրող իրավիճակի վրա, սակայն նրանք դա անելու ցանկություն չունեն։ Այսօր այդ երկրների կառավարություններին անհագստացնում են միայն սեփական խնդիրները՝ նրանց չեն հետաքրքրում, օրինակ, Սուդանի լեռներում բնակվող մարդիկ։
Մյուս կողմից, Ուգանդան՝ Աֆրիկայի մեկ այլ աղքատ երկիր, շատ բան է արել ուրիշներին օգնելու համար։ Ուգանդան անշահախնդրորեն ապաստան է տվել Սուդանից փախստականներին եւ այդ երկրի համար ավելի շատ բան արել, քան վերոնշյալ գերտերությունները։
