Շատերը չիմացության պատճառով միմյանց հետ համատեղում են այնպիսի մթերքներ, որոնք հակացուցված են և առաջացնում են սննդային թունավորում: Ալկոհոլի հետ սունկի օգտագործումը թունավորման ամենից հաճախ հանդիպող պատճառներից է: Մասնագետները պնդում են, որ սխալ է տարածված այն կարծիքը, թե ալկոհոլն ախտահանիչ հատկություն ունի այս դեպքում:

Պարզվում է, որ սննդային անհամատեղելիության խնդիրը մշտապես գիտնականների ուշադրության կենտրոնում է: Վերջիններս պարզել են, որ միսը, հացը եւ կարտոֆիլը չի կարելի «պարզ սնունդ» անվանել: Մարդիկ դժվարանում են այս մթերքները համարել «անհամատեղելի», իսկ դրանց միասին օգտագործումը` վտանգավոր:
