Մահապարտ ահաբեկիչը, որ պատասխանատու է բրիտանական Մանչեսթրում հնչած պայթյունների համար, Լիբիայից ներգաղթյալ ընտանիքում ծնված, 22–ամյա երիտասարդ է՝ Սալման Աբեդի անունով: Վերջինս, այսինքն, ծնվել–մեծացել է Մանչեսթրում, սովորել տեղի դպրոցում և նույնիսկ Սալֆորդյան համալսարան է ընդունվել, որտեղ գործարար կառավարում է ուսումնասիրել: Այդուհանդերձ, մամուլի ուշադրությունից չի վրիպել այն հանգամանքը, որ չնայած վերոնշյալ հաջողություններին՝ երիտասարդը անհասկանալի պատճառով թողել է ուսումը, պարզ չէ՝ ինչով է զբաղվել, և միակ տեղեկությունն այն է, որ նա ահաբեկչությունից ընդամենը 5 օր առաջ է վերադարձել Լիբիայից, որտեղ, հնարավոր է, ջիհադիստների ճամբարներում է կոնկրետ պատրաստվածություն անցել:
 
Երիտասարդի հարևանները ոստիկանությանը պատմել են, որ նա միայն վերջին շրջանում է տարօրինակ վարք դրսևորել: Օրինակ՝ փողոցում բարձրաձայն իսլամական աղոթք է կարդացել՝ հայտարարելով, թե կա միայն մեկ Աստված, և Մուհամմեդը նրա մարգարեն է: Իսկ մինչ այդ որևէ կերպ չի առանձնացել, ի տարբերություն ավագ եղբոր՝ Իսմայիլի, որ Դիդսբերիի մզկիթին կից դպրոցի դասատու է, մշտապես սովորական հագուստով է եղել: Կարճ ասած՝ ապրել է աննկատ, եթե վերջին տարօրինակությունները հաշվի չառնենք:
 
Ի դեպ, Մանչեսթրի բնակիչները դժգոհում են, որ պատահածը նաև ոստիկանության մեղքն է: Շրջանը, որտեղ ապրում է Աբեդիների ընտանիքը, Ուոլլի Ռենջն է, որը հայտնի է լիբիացի ներգաղթյալների կուտակմամբ և իսլամիստների գաղափարական պաշտպանությամբ: Մամուլը գրում է, թե հենց այստեղ է ձևավորվել ԼԻՌԽ–ը՝ Լիբիայի իսլամական ռազմական խմբակը, որը երկար տարիներ պայքարել է Մուամմար Քադդաֆիի ռեժիմի դեմ:
 
Ավելին՝ հենց այս խմբի անդամներից մեկն էր, որ Լիբիա վերադառնալով՝ Ալ–Քաիդայի առաջնորդ Այման ազ–Զավահիրիի ենթակայությամբ ահաբեկչական խումբ ձևավորեց այնտեղ: 2011–ին ողջ քաղաքը գիտեր, որ Մանչեսթրի լիբիական համայնքի նախագահ Սալահ Աբոաոբան հանգանականություն է անում Լիբիայի ահաբեկչական խմբավորման համար հենց այն մզկիթում, որի դպրոցում երիտասարդի եղբայրն է դասավանդում: Այստեղ է հիմնվել մահմեդական աղջիկների գիմնազիան, որի աշակերտուհիներ և երկվորյակ քույրեր Զոխրան ու Սալման 2014–ին փախան Սիրիա՝ ներգրավվելու ԴԱԻՇ–ի շարքերում:
 
Ընդ որում, քանի որ Սալմանը մտերիմ է եղել քույրերին, մամուլը ենթադրում է, թե գուցե տղային էլ է այն նույն մարդը հավաքագրել, որը քույրերին ու բազում բրիտանացիների է ԴԱԻՇ–ի գիրկը նետել: Այդ մարդու անունը Ռաֆաել Հոստի է, և ինչպես երևում է՝ ոստիկանները նոր–նոր են նրան փնտրում, ինչպես նաև՝ դեպքի հետ հնարավոր բոլոր առնչությունները պարզում: Մի բան, ինչի համար հանրությունը նորից է ոստիկանությանը մեղադրում և ինչի առիթով ՆԳ նախարար Էմբեր Ռադդն ակնարկել է, թե իրենք կկամենային կառավարել ինֆորմացիոն հոսքերը, որպեսզի ենթադրյալ ներգրավվածների դեպքում հանկարծակիության էլեմենտը պահպանվի: Հավելենք նաև, որ ամբողջ աշխարհն է այժմ ցավակցում Բրիտանիային և ի նշան համերաշխության՝ տեսարժան վայրերը լուսավորում նրա դրոշի գույներով:
 
Անգամ ԱՄԷ–ի Բուրջ Խալիֆա երկնաքերը, որ ավելի քան 800 մետր բարձրություն ունի, լուսավորվել է բրիտանական դրոշի գույներով։ Ժնևում զոհերի հիշատակը հարգելու համար կարմիր, կապույտ և սպիտակ գույներով է լուսավորվել Ժե–Դո շատրվանը, Բեռլինում՝ Բրանդենբուրգյան դարպասները, Փարիզում՝ Էյֆելյան աշտարակը և այլն: Բոլորը միասնաբար պնդում են, որ բարբարոսներին չի հաջողվի կոտրել քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհի դիմադրությունը, բայց նաև ոչ ոք չգիտի՝ ինչպես վերջ տալ ահաբեկչությանը...
