5 զարմանալի փաստեր ամենախոշոր կենդանիների՝ կապույտ կետերի մասին

Կապույտ կետերը մեր մոլորակի ամենահսկայական արարածներից են: Նրանց չափսերը և կենսասիրությունը սեր են առաջացնում մարդկանց մեջ: Մարդիկ շատ բաներ չեն պարզել ծովային այս կենդանիների մասին, սակայն մեր ունեցած տեղեկություններն էլ բավական են հետաքրքրություն առաջացնելու համար:
1. Հաշվի առնելով անգամ դինոզավրերին՝ ժամանակակից կապույը կետը համարվում է ամենախոշոր կենդանին, որը երբևէ գոյություն է ունեցել Երկրի վրա: Կապույտ կետերի երկարությունը 30-32 մ է, առավելագույն քաշը՝ 173 տ: Նրանց հետ համեմատած՝ դինոզավրերը շատ ավելի թեթև կենդանիներ են եղել:
2. Կապույտ կետի լեզուն կշռում է այնքան, ինչքան աֆրիկյան փիղը՝ ամենաքիչը 2,7 տ: Բացի այդ՝ գիտնականները մահացած կետի մարմին են հայտնաբերել, որը 23 մ երկարություն ուներ, իսկ սիրտը գոլֆի մեքենայի չափսեր ուներ: Չի բացառվում, որ կետի սիրտը կարող է գերազանցել մեքենայի չափսերին:
3. Կապույտ կետերը միանգամից կարողանում են կուլ տալ 500 կգ մանր խեցգետնանմաններ, որը հավասար է կես միլիոն կալորիայի: Նրանք հիմնականում սնվում են ծովախեցգետիններով, մանր ձկներով և կաղամարներով: Երախում տեղավորվում է 90 տ ուտելիք և ջուր, իսկ մեկ օրվա ընթացքում հասուն կետը կարող է ընդունել 40 մլն կիլոկալորիա:
4. Կապույտ կետերը եղանակներով են սնվում: Վերարտադրության համար միգրացիայի ժամանակ նրանք կարող են ոչինչ չուտել կես տարի շարունակ: Իսկ առատ սնվելու շրջանում նրանք ստանում են ավելի շատ էներգիա, քան ծախսում են և այդ եղանակով ավելորդ էներգիա են կուտակում, որը հետագայում կարողանում են օգտագործել:
5. Կապույտ կետերը կրկին հսկայական չափսերով են լույս աշխարհ գալիս: Նորածին կետերը կշռում են 2,5 տ, նրանց երկարությունը 7 մ է, ժամում հավաքում են 3-4 կգ քաշ և աճում են օրական 4 սմ-ով: Կետերը ծնում են ամեն երկու կամ երեք տարին մեկ անգամ՝ ձմռան սկզբին, իսկ նրանց հղիության շրջանը տևում է 10-12 ամիս: Փոքրիկ կետերն ամեն օր 380-570 լ կաթ են խմում: Կես տարի անց նրանք կտրվում են մոր կրծքից:
