Լոնդոնի ոստիկանության հակաահաբեկչական ստորաբաժանման աշխատակիցները Սթանսթեդ օդանավակայանում 37-ամյա մի տղամարդու են ձերբակալել ահաբեկչական գործողությունների նախապատրաստման կասկածանքով: Այդ մասին ասված Է այն հայտարարության մեջ, որը մայիսի 24-ին զետեղվել Է Սքոթլենդ Յարդի պաշտոնական կայքում:
Դրա համաձայն՝ տաղամարդը, որը բերման Է ենթարկվել մայիսի 23-ի երեկոյան, պատրաստվում Էր նստել Թուրքիա մեկնող ինքնաթիռը: Հայտարարության մեջ նշվում Է, որ գործողությունը կապված Է Սիրիա նրա հնարավոր ուղեւորության հետ:
Տղամարդուն տեղափոխել են Լոնդոնի հարավում գտնվող ոստկանական տեղամաս: Ներկայում ոստիկանության սպաները երկու հասցեներով խուզարկություններ են անցկացնում Լոնդոնի հյուսիսայի մասում:
