Բրիտանիան պատմության մեջ երրորդ անգամ ահաբեկչական սպառնալիքի ամենաբարձր մակարդակն Է սահմանում

Մեծ Բրիտանիայում  ահաբեկչական սպառնալիքի մակարդակը բարձրացվել Է մինչեւ կրիտիկական: Այդ մասին մայիսի 23-ին հայտարարել Է երկրի վարչապետ Թերեզա Մեյը՝ ամփոփելով COBRA արտակարգ կառավարական կոմիտեի երեկոյան նիստի արդյունքները:
 
«Անցկացվող հետաքննության հիման վրա փորձագետները եկան այն եզրակացության, որ ահաբեկչական սպառնալիքի մակարդակը պետք Է լրջից բարձրացվի մինչեւ կրիտիկական»,- ասել Է Մեյը:
 
Նա նախազգուշացրել Է, որ երկրում նոր ահաբեկչություն կարող Է կատարվել ցանկացած պահի: «Դա նշանակում Է ոչ միայն այն, գրոհը շատ հավանական Է, այլեւ այն, որ հաջորդ հարձակումը կարող Է անխուսափելի լինել»,- նշել Է կառավարության ղեկավարը:
Մեյը հայտնել Է, որ այդ որոշումն ընդունվել Է այն բանից հետո, երբ հետաքննությունը չի բացառել, որ ահաբեկչության հետեւում կարող են կանգնած լինել մի խումբ անձինք: 
 
Մինչ այդ ահաբեկչական սպառնալիքի մակարդակը (ցուցանիշը սահմանվել Է 2006 թվականին) Մեծ Բրիտանիայում բարձրացվել Է ընդամենը երկու անգամ՝ 2006 եւ 2007 թվականներին: 2014 թվականից այն պահվում Էր հինգբալանոց սանդղակի նախավերջին մակարդակի վրա:
 
Մեյի խոսքով՝ ահաբեկչական սպառնալիքի մակարդակի բարձրացումը, մասնավորապես, նշանակում Է, որ զինված ոստիկանները, որոնք պահպանում են ենթակառուցվածքի կենսականորեն կարեւոր օբյեկտները, կստանան զինվորականների օժանդակությունը:
 
Ահաբեկչական գործողությունը Մանչեսթրում տեղի Է ունեցել մայիսի 22-ի երեկոյան՝ ամերիկացի երգչուհի Արիանա Գրանդեի համերգի ժամանակ: Պայթյունը կատարել Է մահապարտը: Վերջին տվյալներով՝ զոհվել Է 22 մարդ, շուրջ 120 հոգի վիրավորվել Է: Բացի այդ, մի քանի դեռահասներ համարվում են անհայտ կորած: Պայթյունի պատասխանատվությունն ստանձնել Է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորումը: Ոստիկանությունը 22-ամյա Սալման Աբեդիին համարում Է ահաբեկչական գործողության իրականացման կասկածյալ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
