Երեւանում մեկնարկած Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության նախարարական համաժողովի ժամանակՖրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպության գլխավոր քարտուղար Միկայել ժանը շեշտեց, որ Հայաստանը հանդիսանում է խորհրդանիշ, որտեղ հիշողությունը պահպանվում է, կրած տառապանքի կնիքը չի վերանում:Արմենպրես-ի փոխանցմամբ, ըստ նրա, միաժամանակ Հայաստանը նաեւ հույսի խորհրդանիշ է, որ կարողացել է վերածնվել ինքն իր համար եւ աշխարհի առջեւ:«Հայաստանն ունի մշտապես առաջ գնալու հատկություն»,- ասաց Ժանը` շնորհակալություն հայտնելով համաժողովի կազմակերպիչներին ջերմ ընդունելության համար:
Խոսելով Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի ծրագրերի մասի, Միկայել Ժանը շեշտեց, որ կազմակերպությունը պետք է նպաստի նոր ճանապարհների բացմանը, նոր լուծումներ գտնելուն, ինչը դյուրին չէ, եւ դիմագրավում է բազմաթիվ մարտահրավերների: «Ֆրանկոֆոնիան իր տարածքի բազմազանությամբ եւ ընդլայնվածությամբ է յուրահատուկ եւ հրատապ հարցերի կենտրոնում է: Շատ բան ենք ակնկալում. Ֆրանկոֆոնիան ոչ միայն պետք է համախմբի եւ ամրապնդի համերաշխությունը, այլեւ ամրապնդի իր տեղը իբրեւ միջազգային կարեւոր դերակատար եւ գործընկեր: Այս ակտիվ դիվանագիտությունը , որը երբեմն իմ գործընկերները անվանում են հիպերակտիվ դիվանագիտություն, պետք է շարունակի սերտ աշխատել բոլոր միջազգային կազմակերպությունների եւ ՄԱԿ-ի մասնագիտացված կառույցների հետ: Ֆրանկոֆոնիան պետք է խոսի մեկ միասնական ձայնով: Աշխարհի խնդիրները ֆրանկոֆոնիայինն են»,- ընդգծեց Ժանը` հավելելով, որ Ֆրանկոֆոնիան բոլոր ճակատներում է եւ անելու շատ բան ունի:
