 Ադրբեջան-Թուրքիա-Վրաստան հունիսին և սեպտեմբերին ծրագրվող համատեղ զորավարժությունը մտահոգություն է առաջացնում, քանզի այդ երկրների տնտեսական գործակցությունը վերաճում է ռազմաքաղաքական համագործակցության: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ մայիսի 23-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ասաց Արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը:

Արևելագետը Թուրքիայի ակտիվությունը Հարավային Կովկասում կապում է թուրք-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների վատթարացման հետ:

«Սա կապված է այն հանգամանքի հետ, որ Թուրքիայի համար շատ կարևոր է հարաբերությունները ԱՄՆ-ի նոր ղեկավարության հետ, և նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի այցը ԱՄՆ չբերեց թուրք-ամերիկյան հարաբերություններում ոչ մի դրական փոփոխության: Այն երկու խնդիրները, որ Թուրքիան բարձրացնում է Վաշինգտոնի առջև՝ կապված քրդերի և Ֆեթուլլահ Գյուլենի հետ, բացասական  արձագանք ստացան ԱՄՆ ղեկավարության կողմից», -ընդգծեց Սաֆրաստյանը:

Ըստ նրա՝ թուրք-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների վատթարացման պատճառ հանդիսացավ նաև Էրդողանի անվտանգության ծառայողների սանձարձակ պահվածքը խաղաղ ցուցարարների նկատմամբ, ինչպես նաև ամերիկյան ռազմական օժանդակությունը Սիրիայի քրդերին:

«Թուրքիան, ակտիվացնելով դիրքերը Հարավային Կովկասում, փորձում է իր արժեքը որոշ չափով բարձրացնել ամերիկացիների աչքում և կորզել զիջումներ՝ կապված քրդերի և Գյուլենի հետ»,-նշեց Սաֆրաստյանը:
