ԱՄՆ սենատորները սպառնում են դադարեցնել հատկացումները Թուրքիային

 Միացյալ Նահանգների Սենատի հատկացումների հանձնաժողովի անդամներ Լինդսի Գրահամը և Պատրիկ Լեհին սպառնացել են դադարեցնել Անկարային տրվող ԱՄՆ օգնությունը, եթե Վաշինգտոնում Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի անվտանգության աշխատակիցների կողմից խաղաղ ցուցարարներին ծեծի ենթարկելու գործը հավուր պատշաճի ուշադրության չարժանանա Թուրքիայի կառավարության կողմից: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին հայտնում է Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախումբը:

Թուրքիայի դեսպան Սերդար Քըլըչին ուղղված նամակում սենատորները նշել են. «Մենք կցանկանայինք հիշեցնել ձեզ, որ խաղաղ հավաքներն ու խոսքի ազատությունն այս երկրի հիմնարար իրավունքներն են: Թուրքական անվտանգության անձնակազմի ներկայացուցիչների կողմից ցուցաբերված ագրեսիվությունն ու բռնությունը շատերիս կողմից մեկնաբանվեց որպես ավելին, քան հարձակում ընդդեմ խաղաղ ցուցարարների. դա հարձակում էր այս իրավունքների դեմ»:

ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի 29 անդամներ կոչ են արել պետդեպարտամենտին համապատասխան միջոցներ ձեռնարկել կատարվածի մեղավորներին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու համար: «Օտար երկրի անվտանգության աշխատակիցների կողմից նման պահվածքը դատապարտելի է և չի կարող հանդուրժվել: Այս գործողությունները ոչ միայն հանցագործ բնույթ ունեն, այլև հակասում են ԱՄՆ արժեքներին»,- նշել են նրանք: ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Ռեքս Թիլերսոնին ուղղված նամակում Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի անդամներն ընդգծել են, որ խոսքի և հավաքների ազատությունը կարող է արգելված լինել Թուրքիայում և վիրավորական այդ երկրի նախագահի համար, սակայն դրանք ԱՄՆ արմատային արժեքներ են և պետք է պաշտպանված լինեն:

Միացյալ Նահանգներ այցելող Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի դեմ մայրաքաղաք Վաշինգտոնում կազմակերպված խաղաղ ցույցի մասնակիցները մի խումբ թուրք ազգայնամոլների կատաղի հարձակման թիրախ են դարձել: Մի քանի վիրավորներ արնաշաղախ հիվանդանոց են տեղափոխվել: Հայտնի է դարձել, որ հարձակումն իրականացրել են Էրդողանի անվտանգության աշխատակիցները: Ավելի ուշ հայտնված տեսանյութում երևում է, թե ինչպես է հենց Էրդողանը տալիս ցուցարարների վրա հարձակվելու հրահանգը:

Ցույցը կազմակերպվել էր Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախմբի, Ամերիկայի Հելենական խորհրդի եւ մի շարք այլ՝ քրդական, ասորական եւ հունական կազմակերպությունների կողմից: Ծեծկռտուքից հետո մի քանի մարդ տեղափոխվել էր հիվանդանոց: Ոստիկանությունը ձերբակալել էր երկու անձի:

Կատարվածը դատապարտել էր ԱՄՆ պետդեպը, պետքարտուղար Թիլերսոնը՝ անընդունելի համարելով թուրքական հաշվեհարդարները Վաշինգտոնի կենտրոնում, Վաշինգտոնի քաղաքապետը և մի խումբ կոնգրեսականներ:
