Զինված հակամարտությունների եւ տարերային աղետների հետեւանքով հարկադրաբար իրենց տները լքած մարդկանց թիվը 2016 թվականին կազմել Է 31,1 միլիոն: Այդ մասին, հաղորդվում Է Փախստականների հարցերով նորվեգական խորհրդի (NRC) նոր զեկույցում:
Մոտավորապես 922 հազար մարդ հարկադրված Է եղել մեկնել Կոնգոյի Դեմոկրատական Հանրապետության զինված հակամարտության պատճառով: Սիրիայից փախել Է 824 հազար մարդ: Եռյակը եզրափակում Է Իրաքը՝ 659 հազար հարկադիր վերաբնակներով: Նրանց հաջորդում են Աֆղանստանը (653 հազար մարդ), Նիգերիան (501 հազար մարդ) եւ Եմենը (478 հազար մարդ):
Զնված հակամարտությունների պատճառով մեկնած 6,9 միլիոն մարդկանցից 2,6 միլիոնն ապրում Է Սահարայից հարավ ընկած աֆրիկյան երկրներում:
Դրա հետ մեկտեղ, հաշվետվության համաձայն, տարերային աղետների պատճառով եռակի ավելի շատ մարդիկ են լքում իրենց տները, քան զինված հակամարտությունների պատճառով: Անցյալ տարի հանկարծահաս եղանակային սպառնալիքների ենթարկված 24 մլն մարդկանց մեծ մասը վերաբնակվել Է: Այս «վարկանիշում» առաջին տեղում Չինաստանն Է 7,4 մլն մարդկանցով, նրան 5,9 միլիոն բնակիչներով հաջորդում Է Ֆիլիպինները, երրորդ եւ չորրորդ տեղերն զբաղեցնում են Հնդկաստանը եւ Ինդոնեզիայն՝ համապատասխանաբար 2,4 եւ 1,2 մլն մարդ ցուցանիշներով, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
