Ռեփեր Drake-ը դարձել Է Billboard հանդեսի մրցանակների ռեկորդակիրը

Կանադացի երաժիշտ, պրոդյուսեր, դերասան Drake-ը դարձել Է Billboard Music Awards երաժշտական մրցանակի պարգեւատրման արարողության հաղթահերոսը՝ ստանալով ռեկորդային 13 պարգեւ: Դրա հետ մեկտեղ 30-ամյա ռեփերին հաջողվել Է հաղթող դառնալ ամենագլխավոր՝ «Լավագույն արտիստ» կատեգորիայում՝ հաղթելով այնպիսի փորձառու մրցակիցների, ինչպիսիք են Ադելը, Բեյոնսեն եւ Ջասթին Բիբերը:
Billboard հանդեսի մրցանակի դափնեկիրները հայտարարվել են մայիսի 21-ի երեկոյան Լաս-Վեգասում (Նեւադայի նահանգ) տեղի ունեցած հանդիսավոր արարողության ընթացքում:
Drake-ն հաղթող Է դարձել երաժշտական մրցանակի բոլոր ամենահեղինակավոր կատեգորիաներում. նա ճանաչվել Է Լավագույն երգիչ», «Billboard 200-ի լավագույն արտիստ» եւ «Billboard 100-ի լավագույն կատարող»: Բացի այդ, կանադացի կատարողը դարձել Է տարվա «Լավագույն ռեփերը», իսկ նրա չորրորդ ալբոմը՝ View-ը, որը թողարկվել Է 2016 թվականին եւ տասը շաբաթվա ընթացքում գլխավորել առավել մեծ ժողովրդականություն վայելող հարյուր երգերի վարկանիշը, հայտարարվել Է «Ռեփ ոճի լավագույն ալբոմ»:
«Տարվա լավագույն երգչուհին» ճանաչվել Է ամերիկուհի Բեյոնսեն, որին հաջողվել Է այս տարի ստանալ Billboard հանդեսի հինգ պարգեւներ, հիմնականում շնորհիվ հյուրախաղային մեծ շրջագայության (The Formation World Tour): Նույնքան պարգեւ Էլ ամերիկյան Twenty One Pilots դուետի հաշվին Է: Այս կոլեկտիվը դարձել Է տարվա «Ամենամեծ ժողովրդականություն վայելող խումբը», ինչպես նաեւ հաղթել Է «Ռոք ոճի լավագույն երգը» կատեգորիայում՝ «Heathens» սինգլի համար:
Ամերիկացի երգիչ Ջասթին Թիմբեռլեյքը մրցանակի դափնեկիր Է հայտարարվել «Ամենավաճառվող երգը» կատեգորիայում՝ «Can’t Stop The Feeling!» կոմպոզիցիայի համար: Նա նաեւ հաղթել Է «Լավագույն երգը ռադիոյի համար» անվանակարգում:
Metallica ամերիկյան կոլեկտիվը Billboard հանդեսի մրցանակն ստացել Է «Լավագույն ռոք-ալբոմ» անվանակարգում: Դեռ 1981 թվականին ստեղծված խումբը կրկին Billboard-ի մրցանակի դափնեկիր Է դարձել 20 տարի անց: Հանդեսի նախորդ պարգեւը երաժիշտներին հանձնվել Էր տակավին 1999 թվականին: Խմբի ներկայիս՝ վերջին ալբոմը՝ «Hardwired…To Self Destruct» անվանմամբ, թողարկվել Է անցյալ տարվա աշնանը, եւ նոյեմբերի 18-ին ալբոմն առաջին անգամ առաջատարի հորիզոնականում Է հայտնվել երկու հարյուր առավել մեծ ժողովրդավակություն վայելող երգերի վարկանիշում:
24-ամյա բրիտանացի երգիչ Մալիք Զեյնը, որը հայտնի Է Zayn բեմական անունով, մրցանակ Է ստացել որպես «Լավագույն նոր կատարող»: 2016 թվականի մարտին տեղի ունեցավ նրա Mind of Mine դեբյուտային ալբոմի ռելիզը: Այս սկավառակի գլխավոր երգը՝ Pillowtalk-ը, արագորեն առաջին հորիզոնականներն զբաղեցրեց աշխարհի մի քանի երկրների, ներառյալ ԱՄՆ-ի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Ավստրալիայի եւ Կանադայի հիթ-շքերթներում:
Billboard Music Awards-ը երաժշտական մրցանակների հանձնման ամենամյա արարողություն Է, որը կազմակերպվում եւ հովանավորվում Է Billboard հանդեսի կողմից, եւ ԱՄՆ-ի երեք խոշորագույն երաժշտական պարգեւներից մեկն Է «Գրեմմի»-ի եւ American Music Awards-ի շարքում:
