Պրեմիեր լիգայի վերջին` 38-րդ տուրում «Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» ջախջախեց «Ուոթֆորդին» 5:0 հաշվով: Դուբլի հեղինակ դարձավ Սերխիո Ագուերոն, մեկական անգամ աչքի ընկան Վենսան Կոմպանին, Ֆերնանդինյոն և Գաբրիել Ժեզուսը:

«Լիվերպուլը» ջախջախեց «Միդլսբրոյին»: Հանդիպումը կայացավ Լիվերպուլի «Էնֆիլդ» ստադիոնում և ավարտվեց 3:0 հաշվով: Գոլի հեղինակ դարձան Ժորժինյո Վեյնալդումը, Ֆիլիպե Կոուտինյոն և Ադամ Լալանան:

«Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» (78 միավոր) և «Լիվերպուլը» (76) զբաղեցրեցին Անգլիայի Պրեմիեր լիգայի 2016/17թթ. մրցաշրջանի աղյուսակի համապատասխանաբար 3-րդ և 4-րդ հորիզոնականները` Չեմպիոնների լիգայի ուղեգիր նվաճելով: «Քաղաքայինները» ապահովեցին տեղը խմբային փուլում:

«Արսենալը»` չնայած հաղթանակին, 75 միավորով մնաց աղյուսակի 5-րդ տեղում և կխաղա Եվրոպա լիգայում:

ԱՊԼ-ի 6-րդ հորիզոնականը զբաղեցրեց «Մանչեսթեր Յունայթեդը», սակայն «կարմիր սատանաները» Եվրոպա լիգայի խաղարկության եզրափակչում հոլանդական «Այաքսին» հաղթելու դեպքում հանդես կգան Չեմպիոնների լիգայում:

Պրեմիեր լիգայից դուրս մնացին «Հալ Սիթին», «Միդլսբրոն» և «Սանդերլենդը»:
