WikiLeaks կայքի հիմնադիր Ջուլիան Ասանժի մայրը կոչ է արել Ավստրալիայի վարչապետ Մալքոլմ Թերնբուլին աջակցել իր որդու՝ Էկվադոր տեղափոխվելու գործընթացին, այս մասին հայտնում է ABC հեռուստաալիքը։

Նշենք, որ Ջուլիան Ասանժն Ավստրալիայի քաղաքացի է։

«Ես պաշտոնապես կոչ եմ անում Թերնբուլին, որպեսզի նա պահի իրեն վարչապետի պես և պաշտպանի իր քաղաքացուն», - ասել է տիկին Ասանժը։

Ջուլիան Ասանժի մայրը պահանջում է, որ Ավստրալիայի վարչապետն ապահովի իր որդու նոր անձնագրի ստացումը, որպեսզի վերջինս կարողանա ազատ ճանապարհորդել, ինչպես նաև ճնշում գործադրի Մեծ Բրիտանիայի իշխանությունների վրա, որպեսզի նրանք ապահովեն Ասանժի անցումն Էկվադոր։

Ավելի վաղ WikiLeaks կայքի հիմնադրի փաստաբաններից Խուան Բրանկոն հայտարարել էր, որ իր հաճախորդն ապաստան ստանալու համար դիմելու է Ֆրանսիային՝ բռնաբարության մասին գործով հետաքննությունը Շվեդիայի դատախազության կողմից կարճելուց հետո:

Օրեր առաջ հայտնի է դարձել, որ Շվեդիայի դատախազությունը դադարեցրել է 2010 թվականին բռնաբարության համար կասկածվող Ասանժի գործի քննությունը: Լոնդոնի ոստիկանությունը հայտարարություն է հրապարակել, որում նախազգուշացրել է, որ եթե Ասանժը դուրս գա Լոնդոնում Էկվադորի դեսպանատան շենքից, նրան կձերբակալեն: Լոնդոնում ձերբակալության համար առիթ կդառնա մինչ այժմ գործող օրդերը, որը դատարանը տրամադրել է, երբ Ասանժը 2012 թվականի հունիսի 29-ին հրաժարվել է հանձնվել դատարանին:

Ասանժը Լոնդոնում Էկվադորի դեսպանատանն է գտնվում 2012 թվականի հունիսից։
