Տեխասի կողմից Ցեղասպանության ճանաչումն այդ նահանգի հայանպաստ քայլերի տրամաբանական շարունակությունն է

ԱՄՆ Տեխաս նահանգի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչմամբ ամբողջացան ԱՄՆ արևմտյան ափի նահանգներում Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչմանն ուղղված ամերիկահայերի քայլերը: ԱՄՆ Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի արևմտյան ափի կառույցի պատասխանատվության շրջանում գտնվող բոլոր նահանգները ճանաչել են Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Դրանք են Ալյասկան, Արիզոնան, Կալիֆորնիան, Կոլորադոն, Հավային, Այդահոն, Կանզասը, Մոնտանան, Նեբրասկան, Նևադան, Նյու Մեքսիկոն, Հյուսիսային Դակոտան, Օկլահոման, Օրեգոնը, Հարավային Դակոտան, Տեխասը, Յուտան, Վաշինգտոնը և Վայոմինգը:
Տեխասի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի կողմից այսօր ընդունած բանաձևում, մասնավորապես նշվում է. «Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ընթացքում քանդվող Օսմանյան կայսրությունը սկսեց հայ բնակչության ոչնչացման համակարգային արշավը, որն այդ ժամանակ կազմում էր ավելի քան երկու միլիոն: Շուրջ 1.5 միլիոն հայեր ոչնչացվեցին, և այսօր Հայաստանում՝ հայերի հայրենիքի շուրջ 10 տոկոս տարածքի վրա բնակվում են 3 միլիոն հայեր, մինչդեռ հայկական սփյուռքը հաշվվում է 8-ից 10 միլիոն աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ-ում»:
Այս բանաձևի ընդունումը Տեխասի օրենսդիր մարմնի հերթական հայանպաստ քայլն է: Դեռևս 2015թ-ին այն մերժել էր մի շարք հակահայկական բանաձևեր, իսկ այնուհետև ընդունել 1541 բանաձևը, որում շեշտվում էր Տեխասի աջակցությունը Հայոց ցեղասպանության հետևանքով որբ մնացած շուրջ 132 հազար հայ երեխաներին:
