Մայիսի 14-ին ամերիկացիները նշել են իրենց ամենասիրելի տոներից մեկը` Մայրության օրը։ Արտասահմանում մեծացած մեր հայ հայտնիներից մի քանիսն իրենց մայրերի լուսանկարները հրապարակեցին ու շնորհավորեցին սիրելիներին, օրինակ՝ Անժելա Սարաֆյանը իր ծնողների հարսանեկան լուսանկարն է հրապարակել ու այն այսպես մակագրել. «Իմ հոր և մոր հարսանիքը… Եվ հետո Զառան դարձավ մայր։ Շնորհավոր մայրության օրը, մամ»:
Իվետա Մուկուչյանն էլ իր, քրոջ և մոր մասնակցությամբ լուսանկար է հրապարակել ու էլի հուզիչ տողերով մակագրել:
Նույնը նաև Արմինկան է արել, ով ընդամենը մի քանի ամիս առաջ է տեղափոխվել ԱՄՆ, բայց գտնում է, որ այս տիպիկ ու զտարյուն ամերիկյան տոնը նաև իր hայաստանաբնակ մայրիկին է վերաբերում: Չէ, չէէէ, այնպես չէ, որ ես դեմ եմ ցանկացած փոքրիկ առիթը մեր մայրերի համար տոն դարձնելուն, հակառակը, ես էլ եմ այն կարծիքին, որ ամենաշատը մենք մեր ծնողներին ենք պարտավոր ուրախացնել ու երջանկացնել ցանկացած առիթով: Բայց, անկեղծ ասած, Արմինկայի այս պոստն իսկապես արդեն համը հանել էր այն սկանդալից հետո, որը համացանցում առաջացավ նրա «Ես հպարտ եմ իմ Հայ լինելով ու իմ շատ հայկական ընտանիքով» հրապարակումից հետո:
