Եթե Թուրքիան ի վերջո հրաժարվի թույլատրել գերմանացի պատգամավորների պատվիրակության մուտքը Ինջրիլիք ավիաբազա, որտեղ գերմանացի զինվորականներ են տեղակայված, դա կարող է «շրջադարձային կետ դառնալ երկու երկրների ռազմական հարաբերություններում», գրում է գերմանական Der Spiegel պարբերականը՝ հիշեցնելով, որ 2016-ի աշնանը Գերմանիան ու Թուրքիան արդեն իսկ վիճել են այդ հարցի շուրջ։ Այն ժամանակ Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին Բունդեսթագի բանաձեւի շուրջ ծագած դիվանագիտական սկանդալի ֆոնին երկրներին մեծ դժվարությամբ էր հաջողվել պայմանավորվել։
Այս անգամ Գերմանիայի կառավարությունը շատ ավելի լուրջ է տրամադրված ու սպառնում է դուրս բերել գերմանացի զինծառայողներին Թուրքիայից, եթե կողմերը չգտնեն փոխզիջում։ «Գերմանիայի արձագանքը ցույց է տալիս, որ Բեռլինը շատ դժգոհ է Էրդողանի խաղերից», համարում է հեղինակը։ Գերմանիայի ԱԳՆ-ն ապրիլից սկսած փորձում է ստանալ թույլատվություն Թուրքիա պատգամավորների այցելության համար։ Իսկ կիրակի Թուրքիայում Գերմանիայի դեսպանը հայտնել է, որ Թուրքիան մերժում է մուտք տրամադրել։
Թուրքական կողմի գործողությունները, շեշտում է հեղինակը , ամենեւին կապակցված չեն գերմանացի զինվորականների առաքելության հետ։ «Թուրքիան պատգամավորների այցելության հարցը գործածում է որպես խաղաքարտ քաղաքական պոկերում,- շարունակում է հեղինակը,- Մասնավորապես Անկարան բարկացած է, որ գերմանական դատարաննեը որոշել են ապաստան տրամադրել թուրք զինծառայողներին, որոնց Թուրքիայում սպառնում է քրեական հետապնդում որպես Ֆեթուլահ Գյուլենի հետեւորդներ»։ Թուրքիայի տեսակետով «Գերմանիան պաշտպանում է ահաբեկիչներին»։
Բեռլինը հույս ունի, որ կոշտ քայլերով կստիպի Թուրքիային մտափոխվել։ Էրդողանի նկատմամբ կոշտ միջոցառումների քաղաքականությունը ձեռնտու է նաեւ նախընտրական պայքարի տեսակետից։
Մինչդեռ այս իրավիճակը բարդ է նաեւ գերմանացի զինծառայողների համար՝ գերմանական ՌՕՈւ ոչ մի զինծառայող չի ուզում հեռանալ Ինջիրլիքից։ «Մեզ համար հեռանալը խենթություն կլիներ,- համարում են բանակային շրջանակներում,- Նման քաղաքական որոշումը ակնհայտորեն հակասում է ռազմական շահերին»։
Բայց հեռանալու հարցը այնուամենայնիվ քննարկվում է Բունդեսվերում։ Դեռ անցած տարվա նոյեմբերին որպես Ինջիրլիքի այլընտրանք՝ քննարկվում էր Հորդանանում Մավաֆիկ Սալթիի անվան ավիաբազան։ Ներքին գործածման փաստաթղթերում նշվում է, որ «այն համապատասխանում է բոլոր օպերատիվ պահանջներին» ու Հորդանանը եւ ԱՄՆ ՌՕՈՒ , որոնք ներկա են այդ բազայում, դրական են տրամադրված ու պատրաստ են օգնել»։ Միաժամանակ տեղափոխությունը զգալի ծախսերի հետ է կապված ու Բունդեսվերում համարում են, որ Ինջիրլիքից Հորդանան պետք է տեղափոխվի 200 ծովային կոնտեյներ, բացի դրանից մեկ կամ երկու ամիս կպահանջվի մինչեւ գերմանական «լյուֆթվաֆֆեն» ամբողջովին կհարմարվի նոր վայրում՝ կոալիցիայից հեռու, ասվում է հոդվածում։
