Կա մի հասկացություն, որն ասում է, թե Հայաստանը սկսվում է սահմանից։ Իրականում, սահմանները, առավել ևս մեր տարածաշրջանի համար, իհարկե, կարևոր են և դա ապացուցելու կարիք չկա։ Սակայն, ցանկացած զարգացած պետական կամ քաղաքական համակարգում, կենտրոնը դիտարկվում է մայրաքաղաքը, որից էլ՝ ճառագայթի սկզբունքով ծավալվում են քաղաքական, հասարակական, տնտեսական, մշակութային և այլ գործընթացներ։ Այս առումով, Հայաստանում, Երևանի դերն առավել քան արժևորվում է, քանի որ այստեղ է կենտրոնացած Հայաստանի բնակչության կեսից ավելին։

Կենտրոնի ընկալման այս միտումը, տիպական է հայաստանյան հասարակության համար։ Եթե ուշադիր լինենք ազգաբանական առումով, ապա կտեսնենք, որ մարզերի բնակչները հիմնականում հույս են կապում Երևանի հետ.«եթե մի բան սկսվի, Երևանում կսկսվի» կամ «Երևանցիները ոտքի են ելել, կարելի է միանալ»։ Իրականում, այստեղ Երևան կամ երևանցի հասկացությունները կիրառվում են պայմանականորեն։ Խնդիրը՝ կենտրոնի երևութական ընկալումն է։

Երեկվա ավագանու ընտրություններից հետո, այսպես ասած ընդդիմությունը կոտրեց ու ոչնչացրեց մարզերի վերջին հույսը։ Նա գնաց ընտրությունները գիտակցաբար լեգիտիմացնելու ճանապարհով։ Իսկ մյուս կողմից, կրեց ջախջախիչ պարտություն։ Ելքի ներկայացուցիչ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, դեռևս 2015.02.12-ին հայտարարում էր, որ իրենք մարդկանց չեն առաջնորդելու դեպի պարտություն։ Սակայն եղավ այն, ինչ եղավ։ Դեռ երբեք Երևանում, կամ համեմատության համար նաև համապետականում, Հանրապետականը չէր տարել նման ջախջախիչ հաղթանակ։ Ու սա այն դեպքում, երբ նրանք անգամ ընտրատեղամասեր չբերեցին մի զգալի զանգված։ Եթե դա տեղի ունենար, ապա պատկերն ավելի սարսափելի կլիներ։

Ամփոփելով ասվածը, կարող ենք փաստել, որ Հայաստանի ու հատկապես երևանյան գործընթացների հաջորդիվ տիրող մարգինալ վիճակի պատասխանատուները ելքասեր Նիկոլն ու Անին տենչող Զարուհին են։
