39-летнюю американку Лиану Баррьентос судят за мошенничество: она была замужем за 10-ю мужчинами одновременно, и ни один из счастливчиков не догадывался об обмане.

Пока тысячи девушек годами ждут предложения руки и сердца от своих возлюбленных и мечтают о свадебных платьях, другие с легкостью вступают в брак. Так, уроженка Доминиканской Республики Лиана Баррьентос с 1999 года умудрилась выйти замуж 10 раз — и ни разу не развестись. Только в 2002 году, пишет американская газета New York Daily News, Лиана пошла под венец с пятью мужчинами, которые, конечно же, не подозревали, насколько коварна их невеста.



се «возлюбленные» Баррьентос жили в сладком неведении, пока наконец не выяснилась правда: теперь американку судят за мошенничество и обвиняют в подделке документов — женщина намеренно путала имя и фамилию, чтобы зарегистрировать отношения с мужьями. Впрочем, к мужьям тоже есть вопросы: по одной из версий, супругами Лианы были нелегальные мигранты, которые вступали с женщиной в фиктивный брак, чтобы получить вид на жительство в США. Был ли среди этих браков хоть один, заключенный по любви, неясно — аферистка отказалась общаться с прессой. Журналисты, к слову, уже окрестили Баррьентос «серийной невестой» и выяснили, что у девушки давно были проблемы с законом, а в последний месяц ей даже пришлось покинуть съемную квартиру и перебраться в приют для бездомных.Если Лиану осудят, то на 4 года квартирный вопрос будет решен.
