Հանրապետության Նախագահի հետ աշխատանքային հանդիպման ժամանակ արդարադատության նախարար Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը մայիսի 13-ին զեկուցել է նախարարության գործունեության հիմնական ուղղություններով իրականացվող միջոցառումների, ինչպես նաև կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի ոլորտում ձեռնարկվող ինստիտուցիոնալ բարեփոխումների մասին: 

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, նախարարը ներկայացրել է, որ կոռուպցիայի կանխարգելման հարցերով նոր մարմինը ձևավորվելու է Բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնատար անձանց էթիկայի հանձնաժողովի հենքի վրա և հաշվի առնելով Սահմանադրության նոր լուծումները՝ ունենալու է ինքնավար մարմնի կարգավիճակ: Նոր մարմինը, ըստ արդարադատության նախարարի, օժտված է լինելու միջազգային չափանիշներին համահունչ անկախության երաշխիքներով՝ դրա անդամները նշ անակվելու են Ազգային ժողովի կողմից, իրենց լիազորություններն իրականացնելիս չեն ենթարկվելու որևէ պաշտոնատար անձի կամ մարմնի, ինչպես նաև օգտվելու են անձեռնմխելիությունից: Մարմինը ֆինանսավորվելու է պետական բյուջեից և ունենալու է առանձին աշխատակազմ:
Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը Նախագահին զեկուցել է նաև, որ հակակոռուպցիոն մարմնին վերապահվել են այնպիսի նոր լիազորություններ, ինչպիսին են՝ գույքի, եկամուտների և շահերի հայտարարագրերի վերլուծությունը, բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնատար անձանց նկատմամբ կիրառվող անհամատեղելիության պահանջների և սահմանափա կումների պահպանմանը հետևելը, կրթական և հանրային իրազեկման բարձրացմանն ուղղված միջոցառումներ իրականացնելը և այլն: Հայտարարագրերի ներկայացման հետ կապված պահանջները խախտելու դեպքում, մարմինն իրավասու է լինելու պաշտոնատար անձանց նկատմամբ կիրառել վարչական պատասխանատվության միջոցներ, իսկ հանցագործության հատկանիշներ հայտնաբերելու դեպքում՝ համապատասխան նյութերն ուղարկելու է դատախազություն:
Արդարադատության նախարարը տեղեկացրել է նաև, որ բարեփոխվել են կոռուպցիայի կանխարգելմանը նպաստող մի շարք ինստիտուտներ, այդ թվում՝ ներդրվել է շա հերի հայտարարագրման համակարգ, ընդլայնվել է հայտարարագիր ներկայացնող անձանց շրջանակը, հստակեցվել են շահերի բախումները կանխարգելող կանոնները:

Հանդիպման ավարտին Նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել արդարադատության նախարար Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանին պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում նրա գործունեության համար և վստահություն հայտնել, որ նորընտիր Ազգային ժողովում Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը կաշխատի նույնպիսի եռանդով և կլինի նույնքան ակտիվ, որքան կառավարությունում:
