1in.am / Կարեն Կարապետյանն ավստրիական ռադիոյին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստ է վարչապետ մնալ 2018 թվականին: Այդ թեմայով իր պատրաստակամության մասին Կարապետյանն առաջին անգամ չէ, որ հայտարարում է, և այդ իմաստով նրա հավակնությունը, հետևաբար նաև Սերժ Սարգսյանի ծրագրերի հետ մրցակցությունը այլևս նորություն չէ:
Կարապետյանի հարցազրույցում ուշագրավ է մեկ այլ բան՝ Իսրայելի օրինակի մատնանշումը պատերազմական, չկարգավորված հակամարտության պայմաններում Հայաստանի զարգացման հեռանկարի վերաբերյալ համատեքստում: Կարեն Կարապետյանը բերում է Իսրայելի օրինակն ու մատնանշում, որ Իսրայելն էլ ուներ ծանր պայմաններում զարգացման խնդիր և լուծեց այն:
