Ամերիկյան հատուկ ծառայությունների նախկին աշխատակից Էդվարդ Սնոուդենը դեմ Է արտահայտվել Համապետական դաշնային բյուրոյի (ՀԴԲ) ղեկավար Ջեյմս Քոմիին պաշտոնից հեռացնելու ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի որոշմանը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:
«ՀԴԲ-ի այս տնօրենը երկար տարիներ ի վեր փորձում Էր ինձ բանտ նստեցնել իմ քաղաքական գործունեության պատճառով: Եթե ես կարող եմ հանդես գալ նրա պաշտոնաթողության դեմ, ապա դուք Էլ կարող եք»,-մայիսի 10-ին նա գրել Է Twitter-ի իր Էջում:
ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահը մայիսի 9-ին Ջեյմս Քոմիին ազատել Է իր պարտականությունների կատարումից, ինչի մասին ասված Է Սպիտակ տան մամուլի ծառայության տարածած հայտարարության մեջ:  
«ՀՀԲ-ն մեր երկրի ամենահարգված ինստիտուտներից մեկն Է, եւ այս օրը մեր իրավապահ մարմինների հպարտության առարկայի համար նշանավորում Է նոր սկիզբ»,- մեջբերում Է անում Սպիտակ տունը Թրամփի խոսքից: Ուղերձում, որը Քոմիին Է հանձնել սուրհանդակը, ընդգծված Է, որ պաշտոնից նրա ազատումն «ուժի մեջ Է մտնում անմիջապես», իսկ ազատման պատճառն այն Է, որ նա «չի կարողացել արդյունավետ կերպով ղեկավարել ՀՀԲ-ն»:     
Քոմին Բյուրոյի ղեկավար Է նշանակվել 2013 թվականի հունիսին ԱՄՆ-ի նախկին նախագահ Բարաք Օբամայի կողմից: 2013 թվականի հուլիսին Սենատը նրան հաստատել Է այդ պաշտոնում:
Նրա օրոք Է բացահայտվել դեմոկրատներից նախագահի թեկնածու Հիլարի Քլինթոնի կողմից ծառայական նամակագրության կանոնների խախտումների գործը: Ավելի ուշ Քլինըոնը Քոմիին մեղադրել Է, որ հենց այդ հետաքննությունն Է դարձել ընտրություններում իր պարտության պատճառը: ՀՀԲ-ի տնօրենի պաշտոնում Քոմին նաեւ ղեկավարել Է Ռուսաստանի հետ Դոնալդ Թրամփի նախընտրական շտաբի աշխատակիցների ենթադրյալ կապերի հետաքննությունը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
