 Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Հաղթանակի և խաղաղության տոնի, Շուշիի ազատագրության և Արցախի պաշտպանության բանակի հիմնադրման օրերի առիթով: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ուղերձում ասվում է.

«Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնից Հայրապետական Մեր օրհնությունն ու շնորհավորանքներն ենք հղում համայն Մեր ժողովրդին՝ Մայիսի 9-ի՝ Հաղթանակի և խաղաղության պանծալի տոնի, Շուշիի ազատագրման և Արցախի Պաշտպանության բանակի հիմնադրման ցնծաբեր օրերի առիթով:

Մայիսյան այս եռատոն խորհուրդն ու տոնակատարությունները կրկին բերկրանքով են լցնում մեր հոգիները: Այսօր անդրադառնում և վերարժևորում ենք մեր ժողովրդի ներդրած այն շոշափելի ջանքերը, որոնք նպաստեցին Մեծ Հայրենական պատերազմում հաղթանակի կերտմանը և աշխարհում խաղաղության հաստատմանը: Արցախյան ազատագրական պայքարում այս հաղթական օրը մեր հերոս զավակները անկոտրում կամքով ու քաջարի ոգով ազատագրեցին ռազմավարական կարևոր նշանակություն ունեցող և ազգային մեր մշակույթի նշանավոր կենտրոն Շուշի քաղաքը: Այդ որոշիչ օրերին կազմավորվեց նաև Արցա խի ապահովության և խաղաղության երաշխիք հանդիսացող Պաշտպանության բանակը:

Այսօր, հակառակ մեր ժողովրդի խաղաղասեր ոգու, շարունակում է առաջնային մնալ հարձակումներից մեր երկրի սահմանների պաշտպանությունը: Պատերազմական այս մարտահրավերների առջև մենք պարտավորված ենք ազգային համախմբվածության, մեզ համար հրամայական է հայրենիքի շենացումը ու մեր անվտանգության գրավական հանդիսացող հայոց բանակի զորացումը:

Մեր աղոթքն ու հայցն է առ Աստված, որպեսզի Բարձրյալ Տերը լուսեղեն երկնային հարկերում հանգստություն շնորհի հայրենիքի համար զոհված մեր հերոս զավակների հոգիներին, խաղաղություն պարգևի համայն աշխարհին, զորացնի և ապահովության մեջ պահի հայրենի մեր պետականությունը և մեր ժողովրդին այժմ և հավիտյանս. Ամեն»:
