Հայաստանում Եվրոպական Միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին հույս ունի, որ այն ծրագրերը, որոնք Հայաստանում իրականացրել է ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակը, շարունակական կլինեն: Մայիսի 8-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ դեսպանը, անդրադառնալով ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակի փակմանը, ընդգծեց, որ գրասենյակի կողմից իրականացվող ծրագրերի կարիք ունի թե Հայաստանը, թե ԵԱՀԿ-ն: «Ես հույս ունեմ, որ ծրագրերը կշարո ւնակվեն: Հայաստանը ունի դրա կարիքը: Դրա կարիքը ունի նաև ԵԱՀԿ-ն: Անկեղծ ասեմ՝ երևի սա ավելի լուրջ հարված է ԵԱՀԿ-ին, քան Հայաստանին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` նշեց Սվիտալսկին:

Նա հավելեց, որ ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակը իրենց համար չափազանց հուսալի գործընկեր էր` հիշեցնելով, որ գրասենյակի հետ համատեղ ՀՀ-ում մի շարք ծրագրեր են իրականացրել:  Նա համոզված է, որ իրականացված ծրագրերը շատ օգտակար էին, դրանք ունեցել  են իրենց հստակ ներդրումը Հայաստանի ժողովրդավարական գործընթացների զարգացմանը, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, օրենքի գերակայության ձևավորմանը: «Մեր կարծիքով, ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակը հավատարիմ է եղել իր մանդատին, կատարել է շատ օգտակար աշխատանք՝ ապացուցելով, թե ինչքան կարևոր է ԵԱՀԿ ներդրումը: Համոզվա ծ ենք, որ ԵԱՀԿ-ի ամենակարևոր արժեքը տեղում ներկա լինելն է, տեղերում աշխատելն է: ԵԱՀԿ-ի գրասենյակը Երևանում դրա լավագույն օրինակներից  մեկն էր կոնկրետ և գործնական աշխատանքի, որը կատարվում էր տեղում»,- ասաց դեսպանը:

Նա համոզվածություն հայտնեց, որ հայկական կողմը` որպես ընդունող պետություն, լավագույն օրինակն է ցուցաբերել: Նրա գնահատմամբ` Հայաստանը  ցուցաբերել է առավելագույն համագործակցություն, կառուցողական դիրքորոշում է ունեցել: «Շատ իմաստներով Հայաստանի, որպես ընդունող պետություն, դիրքորոշումը եղել է օրինակելի այն իրավիճակում, երբ բազմաթիվ պետություններ հարցականի տակ են դնում ԵԱՀԿ-ի ներկայությունն  իրենց պետության տարածքում: Մեր հայ գործընկերները միշտ եղել են դրա աջակիցը»,- եզրափակեց Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին:

Մայիսի 4-ին ԵԱՀԿ-ում նախագահող Ավստրիայի ներկայացուցիչը ԵԱՀԿ Մշտական խորհրդում հայտարարել է, որ, չնայած իրենցներդրած ջանքերին, անհնար է եղել համաձայնության հանգել ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակի մանդատի երկարաձգման շուրջ: ՀՀԱԳՆ-ն, արձագանքելով փաստին, ընդգծել է, որ իÖ € խիստ ապակառուցողական մոտեցումներով Ադրբեջանը ԵԱՀԿ-ում հայտնվել էբացարձակ մեկուսացման մեջ: ԵԱՀԿ նախագահությունը, մասնակից երկրները, քարտուղարությունը` բոլորը սատարում են ԵԱՀԿերևանյան գրասենյակի գործունեությունը, և միայն Ադրբեջանն է, որ, չարաշահելով կազմակերպության կոնսենսուսի սկզբունքը, որի համաձայն նույնիսկ մեկ երկիր կարող է խափանել որոշումների ընդունումը, դեմ է հանդես գալիս ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակիգործունեության շարունակմանը, դրանով իսկ հակադրվելով ամբողջ կազմակերպությանը:
