Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագիրը ստորագրելու համար պատրաստ կլինի 2017թ. աշնանը: Մայիսի 8-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ-ում Եվրոպական Միության պատվիրակության ղեկավար Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին: «2017 թվականի հունվարին, երբ ես կրկին այստեղ հանդիպում էի ձեզ հետ, նշեցի, որ 2017 թվականը Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև համագործակցության Õ �ռումով նշանակալի իրադարձություններով լի տարի կլինի: Եվ հիմա ես շատ ուրախ եմ, որ Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության փաստաթուղթը նախաստորագրվել է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց Սվիտալսկին:

Նա հավելեց, որ այս պահին ԵՄ փորձագետներն աշխատում են փաստաթղթի տեխնիկական վերիֆիկացման վրա: Սվիտալսկին հույս հայտնեց, որ աշնանն այն պատրաստ կլինի ստորագրման համար: «Սա Եվրոպական Միության և Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության անդամ երկրի միջև ամենաամբիցիոզ համաձայնագիրն է»,- ընդգծեց Պյոտր Սվիտալսկին:

Միևնույն ժամանակ, ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավարը ընդգծեց, որ ամենակարևորը համաձայնագրում ընդգրկված դրույթների կյանքի կոչումն է: «Համաձայնագիրը Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև համագործակցության լայն հնարավորություններ է բացում: Ինչպես կօգտագործվեն այդ հնարավորությունները, կախված է մեզանից: Ուստի, մենք` որպես Հայաստանում Եվրոպական Միության պատվիրակություն, պատրաստվում ենք այս համաձայնագիրը ճիշտ օգտագործելուն»,- նշեց Սվիտալսկին:

Հայաստանը և Եվրոպական Միությունը համաձայնեցրել են նաև «Համագործակցության հեռանկարներ» կոչվող փաստաթուղթը: «Ես կարող եմ ասել, որ այս կարևոր փաստաթղթի կետերը համաձայնեցվել են Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև: Հայաստանը հերթական անգամ կարևորագույն դեր է կատարում, որովհետև Արևելյան գործընկերության միակ երկիրն է, որ Եվրոպական Միության հետ բանակցել է այս նոր փաստաթղթի շուրջ, որը կոչվում է «Համագործակցության հեռանկարներ»»,- ընդգծեց Սվիտալսկին:

Նա հույս հայտնեց, որ առաջիկայում ՀՀ-ն և ԵՄ-ն կստորագրեն նաև այդ փաստաթուղթը: «Ես իմ կողմից կարող եմ ասել, որ բանակցություններն անցել են շատ կառուցողական մթնոլորտում և արդյունավետ են անցել: Այս ամենը հույսեր է ներշնչում ապագայում փաստաթղթի կետերը կյանքի կոչելու համար»,- եզրափակեց ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավարը:

Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական Միության միջև համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության մասին համաձայնագիրը նախաստորագրվել է 2017թ. մարտի 21-ին: Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անունից համաձայնագիրը նախաստորագրել են գլխավոր բանակցող, արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Նազարյանը, ինչպես նաև առևտրական հարցերով բանակցող, տնտեսական զարգացման և ներդրումների նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Գարեգին Մելքոնյանը: Եվրոպական միության անունից նախաստորագրել են գլխավոր բանակցող, Եվրոպական արտաքին գործողությունների ծառայության Արևելյան գործընկերության, Ռուսաստնի, Կենտրոնական Ասիայի, տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության և ԵԱՀԿ հարցերով տնօրեն Լյուկ Դևինը, ինչպես նաև ԵՄ կողմի առևտրի հարցերով բանակցող, Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի առևտրի գլխավոր տնօրինության ստորաբաժանման ղեկավար Պետրոս Սուրմելիսը։
