Բրազիլիայի նախկին նախագահը պարգևատրվել է ՀՀ Ազգային Ժողովի «Պատվո մեդալ»

Բրազիլիայում ՀՀ դեսպան Աշոտ Գալոյանը հոկտեմբերի 7-ին Բրազիլիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության նախկին նախագահ Ֆերնանդո Հենրիկե Կարդոզոյին է հանձնել ՀՀ Ազգային Ժողովի «Պատվո մեդալը»՝ Բրազիլիայի Դաշնային Սենատի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման գործում ցուցաբերած մեծ աջակցության և հայամետ դիրքորոշման համար: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտգործնախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, Ֆերնանդո Հենրիկե Կարդոզոն շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ՀՀ դեսպանին բարձր գնահատականի համար և 2016 թվականին Հայաստան այցելելու պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել:
Երեկոյան տեղի է ունեցել Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի ոգեկոչման տարածաշրջանային հանձնախմբի ընդլայնված նիստը, որի ընթացքում ամփոփվել են կատարված աշխատանքների արդյունքները: ՀՀ դեսպանը մանրամասնորեն ներկայացրել է նախատեսված ծրագրերի կատարման և առաջադրված նպատակների իրագործման ընթացքը: Առանձնակի կարևորվել է Բրազիլիայի Դաշնային Սենատի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման փաստը, Սան Պաուլո և Ռիո դե Ժանեյրո Նահանգներում, ինչպես նաև Ֆրանկոդա Ռոշա քաղաքում ապրիլի 24-ը Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին նվիրված օր հռչակելու վե րաբերյալ օրենքների ընդունումը:
Նիստի ընթացքում պարգևներ են հանձնվել «The negation of Armenian Genocide is the violation of the fundamental human rights» խորագիրը կրող մրցույթի հաղթողներին: Առաջին տեղը զբաղեցրած, Սան Պաուլոյի Մակենզի համալսարանի ուսանողուհի Ամանդա Բարսումյանը խրախուսվել է 2016-ին տարածաշրջանային հանձնախմբի հովանավորությամբ Հայաստան այցելելու հավաստագրով: Մեծ գնահատանքի և խրախուսանքի է արժանացել նաև համայնքի վաստակաշատ գործիչներից մեկը` Օշին Մոսդիչյանը, որին ՀՀ դեսպանը հանձնել է ՀՀ Սփյուռքի նախարարության «Ոսկե մեդալը»:
Նույն օրը տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ Անկախության 24-րդ տարեդարձին նվիրված պաշտոնական ընդունելությունը, որին մասնակցել են հայ համայնքային կազմակերպությունների և եկեղեցիների ղեկավարներն ու անդամները, դիվանագիտական կորպուսի և հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները:
