Արցախի Քարինտակ քարանձավում մասնագետները 20 հազար տարի և ավելի պատմություն ունեցող շերտեր են ուսումնասիրում: «Արմենպրես»-ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսում ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Մոլեկուլային կենսաբանության ինստիտուտի էթնոգենոմիկայի լաբորատորիայի վարիչ, Արցախի Քարինտակ քարանձավի արշավախմբի ղեկավար Լևոն Եպիսկոպոսյանը նշեց, որ այնտեղից վերցված 3 նմուշ արդեն տույգ թվագրություն է ստացել, ունի 45 հազար տարվա պատմություն:
«Արցախում մենք իրականացնում ենք հնէաբանական աշխատանքներ: Ոչ միայն կատարում ենք պեղումներ` վերականգնելով շերտերը, այլև անդրադառնում ենք մարդաբանական խնդիրներին: Այնտեղ գտել ենք 7 հազար տարվա վաղեմություն ունեցող ատամ, կարողացել ենք ճշգրիտ տարիքը որոշել, ինչպես նաև գենետիկական նյութ առանձնացնել»,-ասաց Լևոն Եպիսկոպոսյանը:
Նա նշեց, որ քարանձավը բավական գրավիչ է, այն կարող է հետաքրքրիր լինել զբոսաշրջության համար, սակայն առայժմ վտանգավոր է: Բացի այդ, կան էնդեմիկ 4 տեսակի չղջիկներ, որոնց թիվը նախորդ տարիների համեմատ կրճատվել են: Թեպետ տարածքը փակ է, սակայն ցանկացողները հնար գտնում են ներս թափանցելու և ոչնչացնելու չղջիկներին:
Լևոն Եպիսկոպոսյանը նշեց, որ զգալի աշխատանք է կատարվել Ազոխի քարանձավում: Այնտեղ նույնպես ուսումնասիրվում են 20 հազար և ավելի տարվա պատմություն ունեցող շերտերը: Ազոխի քարանձավում ուսումնասիրությունները դադարեցվել էին 1988 թվականին, այժմ դրանք վերսկսվել են: Նա նկատեց, որ նախորդ պեղումները բարբարոսաբար են իրականացվել, նույնիսկ օգտագործել են վակուումային մուրճ: Այժմ աշխատում են պրոֆեսիոնալ չափանիշներին համապատասխան, դրա համար դանդաղ են առաջ շարժվում:
«Աշխատանքներն ընդլայնելու համար բավարար ֆինանսական միջոցներ չկան: Չունենք հնարավորություն դիմելու միջազգային հիմնադրամներին, պահանջում են պեղումների թույլտվություն, մենք դա ստանում ենք Արցախի իշխանություններից: Նախկինում էլ, այսօր էլ միջազգային հիմնադրամները պատրաստ են տալ շռայլ գումարներ, եթե մենք պեղումների համար թույլտվություն ստանանք Ադրբեջանից»,-ասաց Լևոն Եպիսկոպոսյանը: Նա նշեց, որ Ադրբեջանը բոլոր մակարդակներում խոչընդոտում է: Որպես օրինակ, ներկայացրեց «Ազոխի քարանձավը և Կովկասյան միջանցքը» գիրքը, որի հրատա րակությունը մեկ տարի հետաձգվեց հենց Ադրբեջանի միջամտությամբ: Լևոն Եպիսկոպոսյանն ընդգծեց, որ Ադրբեջանի ամբողջ պետական ապարատն էր աշխատում այդ գրքի տպագրության դեմ: Ամեն դեպքում գիրքը հաջողվեց տպագրել:
