 Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի թեկնածուների՝ «Հառաջ» շարժման առաջնորդ, հանրապետության Էկոնոմիկայի նախկին նախարար Էմանուել Մակրոնի եւ «Ազգային ճակատ» կուսակցության ղեկավար Մարին լե Պենի մայիսի 3-ի հեռուստաբանավեճին ֆրանսիական հեռուստատեսության ալիքներով հետեւել են շուրջ 16,5 մլն հեռուստադիտողներ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Ինչպես հայտնել Է «Ֆրանսպրես» գործակալությունը՝ հղում անելով Mediametrie ընկերությանը, TF1 եւ France2 ալիքներով, որոնք բանավեճի կազմակերպիչներն Էին, բանավեճի ընթացքին հետեւել են 15,1 հեռուստադիտողներ: Եվս ավելի քան մեկ միլիոն մարդ հեռուստաբանավեճը դիտել Է այլ ալիքներով, որոնք նույնպես հեռարձակում են իրականացրել:
Հարցման տվյալներով, որը BFMTV հեռուստաալիքի պատվերով անցկացրել Է Elabe հետազոտական ինստիտուտը, ֆրանսիացի հեռուստադիտողները նախընտրական հեռուստաբանավեճի հաղթող են ճանաչել Մակրոնին:  Նախագահական ընտրությունների երկրորդ փուլից առաջ նախապատվությունը Մակրոնին Է տվել հեռուստադիտողների 63 տոկոսը, լե Պենին՝ 34 տոկոսը: Հարցվածների եւս 3 տոկոսը դժվարացել Է նշել հաղթողին: Մակրոնը հաղթանակ Է տարել նաեւ Figaro թերթի կայքում անցկացված հարցման ընթացքում՝ ապահովելով ձայների 64 տոկոսը՝ 36 տոկոսի դիմաց:
Բանավեճը շարունակվել Է 160 րոպե, եւ այդ ամբողջ ժամանակ երկու թեկնածուներն Էլ չեն դադարել միմյանց դեմ խիստ մեղադրանքներ ներկայացնելուց: Մարին լե Պենն ընդդիմախոսին անվանել Է «վայրի գլոբալացման, անկայունության, Uber-ականացման, մեծ գործարարության կողմից տնտեսության հափշտակման թեկնածու, որը երջանիկ կլինի «Ֆրանսիան վաճառելու եղած-չեղածով եւ կորցնելու վերահսկողությունը նրա նկատմամբ»:  
Մակրոնն, իր հերթին, ծաղրել Է 48-ամյա Լը Պենի տնտեսական ծրագիրը՝ հատուկ ուշադրություն նվիրելով եվրոյից հրաժավելու նրա պլանների հակասականությանը: Մակրոնը նրան անվանել Է «գերագույն քրմուհի, որը սարսափ Է քարոզում»՝ հավելելով, որ նա շատ բան Է  ասում, բայց քիչ բան անում: Նրա խոսքով՝ Լը Պենը ոչինիչ չի առաջարկում, բացի պարտվողականությունից:  
Ֆրանսիայում նախագահական ընտրությունների՝ ապրիլի 23-ին կայացած առաջին փուլում Մակրոնը հավաքել Է ձայների 24,01 տոկոսը, լե Պենը՝ 21,3 տոկոսը: Երկրորդ փուլը նշանակված Է մայիսի 7-ին, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
