Մայիսի 3-ին՝ ժամը 19:00-ի սահմաններում, Վերին Արտաշատից դեպի Արտաշատ քաղաք տանող ավտոճանապարհի հատվածում անհայտ անձը կրակոցներ է արձակել «ВАЗ 2107» մակնիշի 44 VV 443 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայի ուղղությամբ, որտեղ եղել են Արարատի մարզի Նորաշենի գյուղապետ Նորիկ Գրիգորյանը և նույն գյուղի բնակիչ, 33-ամյա Կարեն Ղազարյանը:

Նորիկ Գրիգորյանը, վնասվածքներ չի ստացել, իսկ Կարեն Ղազարյանը հրազենային վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել է Արտաշատի բժշկական կենտրոն, որտեղ նրան ցուցաբերվել է առաջին օգնություն՝ կանգնեցվել է արյունահոսությունը։ Այնուհետև նա տեղափոխվել է Երևան՝ «Էրեբունի» բժշկական կենտրոն: 

«Լրացուցիչ հետազոտությունների կարիք կար»,- Tert.am–ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ԲԿ-ի տնօրեն Սոկրատ Հախվերդյանը:

ՀՀ ոստիկանությունից Tert.am–ին այս առնչությամբ հայտնեցին, որ երեկ երեկոյան՝ ժամը 19։10-ի սահմաններում  «Արտաշատ» ԲԿ-ից հաղորդում են ստացվել այն մասին, որ հրազենային վնասվածքներով իրենց մոտ է տեղափոխվել Կ.Ղ-ն: 

Պազվել է, որ նույն օրը ժամը 18.40–ի սահմաններում Վերին Արտաշատ տանող ճանապարհահատվածի 3-րդ կիլոմետրի վրա անհայտ անձինք կրակել են Կ. Վ-ի վարած, ավտոմեքենայի վրա, որի արդյունքում էլ նա ստացել է վերը նշված վնասվածքները։ Ձեռնարկում են միջոցառումներ՝ հանցագործությունը կատարած անձանց ինքնությունը պարզելու ուղղությամբ: Հանգամանքները պարզվում են, կատարվում է նախաքննություն: 

ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեից հայտնեցին, որ հարուցվել է քրեական գործ 34-104-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ, 7-րդ կետերով և 235-րդ հոդվածով: Այն է՝ մի խումբ անձանց կողմից երկու կամ ավելի անձանց նկատմամբ սպանության փորձի կատարումը՝ պայմանավորված վերջիններիս պաշտոնական պարտականությունները կատարելիս:
