Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիբ Էրդողանը Սոչիում ՌԴ նախագահ Պուտինի հետ հանդիպմանը հայտարարել է, թե նրան հրավիրում է մայիսին Թուրքիայում տեղի ունենալիք Սեւծովյան տնտեսական գործակցության կազմակերպության Վեհաժողովին: Պուտինը կընդունի հրավերը, թե ոչ, դեռեւս պարզ չէ: Համենայն դեպս համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում նա կարծես թե չի արձագանքել այդ հայտարարությանը:
Սոչիում տեղի ունեցած ռուս-թուրքական բարձր մակարդակի հանդիպմանը Պուտինը հայտարարել է, որ երկու երկրների հարաբերությունն այլեւս վերադառնում է «բնականոն գործընկերային հարաբերության»: Այդ դեպքում թերեւս տարօրինակ կլինի Էրդողանի հրավերի մերժումը:
Այդ համատեքստում հետաքրքիր է, թե արդյոք Էրդողանը նույն Վեհաժողովին մասնակցելու հրավեր կուղղի Սերժ Սարգսյանին: Հայաստանը Սեւծովյան տնտեսական գործակցության կազմակերպության անդամ է, ըստ այդմ հրավեր պետք է լինի: Կընդունի՞ Սարգսյանը հրավերը, թե ոչ: Դա է հարցը:
Ինչպես հայտնի է, վերջին շրջանում Սերժ Սարգսյանը մի շարք կոշտ հայտարարություններ է արել Թուրքիայի իշխանության եւ մասնավորապես Էրդողանի հասցեին, ֆուտբոլային դիվանագիտության այսպես ասած լիակատար սառեցումից հետո:
