«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
«Փաստն» արդեն ներկայացրել է այս օրերին Բագրատաշենի մաքսակետում ստեղծված լարված իրավիճակի մասին: Տեղեկացրել ենք նաև, որ այս օրերին սահմանային անցակետը հատող ցանկացած անհատ մանրազնին ստուգման է ենթարկվում: Խմբագրությանն ահազանգած քաղաքացիները նշում էին, որ շատերը, ովքեր իրենց բեռում գյուղմթերք ու պտուղ–բանջարեղեն ունեն, մաքսավորները ստիպում են կշռել: Այն մի քանի անգամ լցնել–դատարկելով, պտուղ բանջարեղենը վերածվում է աղբի, որի պատճառով շատերը ստիպված իրենց ապրանքը թափում են սահմանին և հեռանում: Ստացվում է, որ մաքսավորների կողմից սահմանային միահեծան հսկողության պայմաններում թացն ու չորը միասին սկսել է այրվել, բայց իշխանություններն այդ մասին ոչինչ չգիտեն:
Հայ–վրացական սահմանին արհեստականորեն ստեղծված լարվածության պատճառները պարզելու համար «Փաստ»–ը դիմեց ՊԵԿ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժին, որտեղից մեզ տեղեկացրին, որ ՀՀ ներմուծվող ակնհայտ առևտրային չափաքանակով մրգերի և բանջարեղենի առանց մաքսային ձևակերպումների ներկրումը բացառելու նպատակով ՊԵԿ աշխատակիցների կողմից սահմանային անցումային կետերում իրականացվում են համապատասխան միջոցառումներ, իսկ ոչ առևտրային չափաքանակների նկատմամբ իրականացվում է խիստ հսկողություն:
Ի դեպ, ոչ առևտրային չափաքանակ է համարվում մինչև 50 կգ պտուղ–բանջարեղենը, սակայն պատասխանից պարզ է դառնում, որ նրանց բեռները նույնպես խիստ հսկողության պայմաններում է բաց թողնվում: Եվ չնայած, որ ՊԵԿ–ը մեկ այլ հաղորդագրությամբ արդեն տեղեկացրել է, որ ադրբեջանական արկղերով խնձորի հայտնվելու դեպքի մանրամասները ճշտելու նպատակով կառույցի կողմից օպերատիվ–հետախուզական միջոցառումներ են իրականացվել, որի արդյունքում պարզվել է ապօրինի ձեռնարկատիրությամբ զբաղվող անձանց շրջանակը: Վերջինները, առևտուր իրականացնելու նպատակով պարբերաբար հատել են սահմանը, մաքսային ձևակերպումներից խուսափելու նպատակով Բագրատաշենի մաքսակետում ՊԵԿ նախաբացթողումային հսկողության վարչության որոշ աշխատակիցների կաշառք տալու միջոցով ակնհայտ առևտրային քանակ հանդիսացող գյուղմթերք ներկրել:
ՊԵԿ աշխատակիցների կողմից թույլ տրված չարաշահումների փաստերի առթիվ հարուցվել է քրեական գործ, իսկ ՊԵԿ նախագահ Վարդան Հարությունյանի հանձնարարականով սահմանային բոլոր անցակետերում խիստ հսկողություն է իրականացվում նմանատիպ երևույթները բացառելու նպատակով:
