«ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է.

«Մարտի 31-ին «Ելք» դաշինքի անդամների եւ Հոկտեմբերի 27-ի գործով ազատազրկման դատապարտված Արթուր Այվազյանի` Մանախի միջեւ տեղի ունեցած միջադեպի գործը փակուղի է մտել: Հիշեցնենք, որ ապրիլի 1-ին՝ ժամը 1-ին, «Ելք» դաշինքի անդամ Հայկ Սարգսյանը իրավապահներին հայտնել էր, որ ժամը 22:50-ին անհայտ անձը հարվածել է իրեն՝ պատճառելով վնասվածքներ, ինչպես նաեւ հանել է ատրճանակը եւ ուղղել իր վրա, սակայն այն վնասազերծվել է «Ելքի» անդամներից մեկի՝ Գառնիկ Վարդանյանի կողմից: Ավելի ուշ իրավապահները ձերբակալեցին Արթուր Այվազյանին:

Նշենք, որ Արթուր Այվազյանը` Մանախը, 15 տարվա ազատազրկման է դատապարտված եղել Հոկտեմբերի 27-ի գործով կարեւորագույն վկայի սպանությունը պատվիրելու եւ իրագործելու համար: Գրել էինք, որ միջադեպը եղել է «Ելք» դաշինքի քարոզարշավի ընթացքում Եռագույնի շուրջ առաջացած խոսակցությունից, որի արդյունքում գործադրվել էր զենք, սակայն միջադեպի մասնակիցները նշում են, որ զենքը իրենց չի պատկանում: Եւ որպեսզի իրավապահները հասկանան, թե ինչ է կատարվել, նշանակել են առերեսում:

«Ժողովուրդ»-ին տեղեկություններ հասան, որ նախօրեին «Ելք» դաշինքի անդամներ Հայկ Սարգսյանին, Գառնիկ Վարդանյանին իրավապահները հրավիրել են ՀՀ ԱՆ «Նուբարաշեն» քրեակատարողական հիմնարկ՝ առերեսման: Երբ կողմերը պատրաստ են եղել առերեսման, Արթուր Ավագյանը` Մանախը, ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի քննիչների ներկայությամբ ասել է, թե ցանկանում է, որ առերեսումը նկարահանվի, հակառակ դեպքում կհրաժարվի մասնակցել քննչական այդ գործողությանը:

Սակայն քրեակատարողական հիմնարկում նկարահանման պայմաներ չեն եղել, ինչի պատճառով էլ միջադեպի մասնակիցների միջեւ առերեսում տեղի չի ունեցել»:
