The New Indian Express պարբերականն անդրադարձել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի` Հնդկաստան այցին և նշել, որ նա Հնդկաստան է ժամանում` «Ցեղասպանության մեղքը խղճին»: Պարբերականը հիշեցրել է, որ Էրդողանի այցից օրեր առաջ` ապրիլի 25-ին, Հնդկաստանի փոխնախագահ Մոհամմադ Համիդ Անսարին Երևանում այցելել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր և հարգանքի տուրÖ „ մատուցել Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին, իսկ Էրդողանի այցից մեկ օր առաջ էլ Հնդկաստանի վարչապետ Նարենդրա Մոդին ընդունել էր Կիպրոսի նախագահին:
«Սա ողբերգություն է, աննկարագրելի տառապանք, որը մարդիկ մարդկանց են պատճառել»,- պարբերականը մեջբերել է Հնդկաստանի փոխնախագահի խոսքը Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին:
«Հնդկաստանը հրաշալի գիտակցում է, որ, այդպես գործնականում ճանաչելով Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, զայրացնում են թուրքերին, ովքեր կտրականապես մերժում են հայերին կոտորելու փաստը: Սա Թուրքիային հասցեագրված անուղղակի, բայց ցավոտ ուղերձ է, Հնդկաստանին զայրացնում է Քաշմիրի տարածքի շուրջ խճճված վեճում Պակիստանին սատարելու Թուրքիայի դիրքորոշումը, իսկ Հնդկաստանը հայտարարել է Կովկասի ուղղությամբ նոր քաղաքականության մասին»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ գրել է The New Indian Express-ը` հիշեցնելով, որ Հայոց ցղասպանությունը հաճախ անվանում են 20-րդ դարի առաջին ցեղասպանությունը:
Պաշտոնական Նյու Դելին մտադիր է Էրդողանին դժգոհություն հայտնել այն կապակցությամբ, որ թուրքական կողմը ֆինանսական միջոցներ և մասնագետներ է տրամադրել Պակիստանի կողմից հսկվող Քաշմիրի ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման համար:
Ըստ աղբյուրի՝ դիվանագիտական հաջորդ հարվածը՝ Էրդողանի այցից ժամեր առաջ Կիպրոսի նախագահ Նիկոս Անաստասիադեսին Նյու Դելիում ընդունելն ու նրա պատվին կարմիր գորգ փռելն է: Հնդկաստանի վարչապետ Նարենդրա Մոդին հստակ ասել է, որ Հնդկաստանը սատարում է Կիպրոսի ինքնիշխանությունը:
