Սահմանադրական դատարանում Հայաստանում կայացած Ազգային ժողովի ընտրությունների արդյունքների վերաբերյալ Կոնգրես-ՀԺԿ դաշինքի դիմումի քննությունը լիարժեք ցույց տվեց դիմողի բերած դիմումի թե իրավական հիմքերի բացակայությունը, թե փաստական հիմքի սնանկությունը: Սահմանադրական դատարանի կողմից Կոնգրես-ՀԺԿ դաշինքի դիմումը մերժելուց հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նման կարծիք հայտնեց քննվող գործով որպես պատասխանող կողմ ներ գրավված ՀՀ Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Տիգրան Մուկուչյանը:

«Ես արդեն առիթ ունեցել եմ ասելու, որ իրավմամբ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պատմության մեջ սա առաջին դեպքն էր, երբ Սահմանադրական դատարանում քննության առարկա էր դարձել մի հայց, որը զուրկ էր և իրավական հիմքերից, և ապացուցողական բազայից»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց Մուկուչյանը` հավելելով, որ Սահմանադրական դատարանի կայացրած որոշումը չէր կարող անակնկալ լինել բոլոր նրանց համար, ովքեր հետևել են գործի քննության ընթացքին:

Տիգրան Մուկուչյանն այն կարծիքին է, որ ՍԴ-ի կայացրած որոշման մեջ արտահայտվեց այն հսկայածավալ աշխատանքը, որը կատարվել է ընտրությունների ժամանակ, այն աշխատանքը, որը նպաստել է ընտրական գործընթացների նկատմամբ վստահության ապահովմանը և ընտրությունների որակի բարձրացմանը:

ՀՀ Սահմանադրական դատարանն ապրիլի 28-ին մերժեց 2017թ. ապրիլի 2-ին Հայաստանում կայացած ազգային ժողովի ընտրություններն անվավեր ճանաչելու վերաբերյալ Կոնգրես-ՀԺԿ դաշինքի դիմումը: Սահմանադրական դատարանն ուժի մեջ թողեց ընտրությունների արդյունքների վերաբերյալ Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովի արձանագրությունը:
