Յուրաքանչյուր ջավախքցի և ընդհանրապես Վրաստանի յուրաքանչյուր հայ քաղաքացի առիթ թե անառիթ միշտ ձգտում է լինել Երևանում, վայելել մայրաքաղաքի լույսն ու ջերմությունը, բույրն ու կոլորիտը: Մեր հայրենակիցներն ամեն անգամ սրտի թրթիռով են այցելում աշխարհի թիվ մեկ քաղաքը՝ տեսակցելու հարազատներին և բարեկամներին, գրկախառնվելու քաղաքի հետ, կարճ ժամանակով դառնալու նրա եռուզեռի փոքրիկ մասնիկը: Վրաստանի հայերի և ընդհանրապես ՀՀ-ից դուրս բնակվող հայության համար քաղաքամայր Երևանը սրբության սրբոց է, մի առանձնահատուկ սիրո առարկա: Երևանը սրբազան Արարատ լեռան հետ մեկտեղ հանդիսանում է հայի հայրենասիրության գլխավոր դրսևորումներից մեկի՝ Արարատյան հայրենասիրության բուն կրողը: Այդ է պատճառը, որ ՀՀ-ում մշտական բնակության տեղափոխված ջավախքցիների և վրացահայերի գերակշիռ մեծամասնությունը հաստատվել են Երևանում կամ քաղաքամերձ բնակավայրերում:
Հայաստանաբնակ ջավախքցիների և վրացահայերի բազմահազարանոց բանակի համախմբող և միավորող կառույցը հանդիսանում է «Ջավախք» հայրենակցական միությունը, որի կարևոր գործառույթներից մեկը Վրաստանի ողջ հայության համար ընդհանրական սոցիալ-տնտեսական, կրթա-մշակութային և հոգևոր խնդիրների լուծմանը հետամուտ լինելն է:
Սույն թվականի մայիսի 14-ին տեղի են ունենալու Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններ: Բնականաբար այս իրադարձությունը գտնվում է ջավախահայության և վրացահայության ուշադրության կենտրոնում, քանզի մեր սրտի մայրաքաղաքի գալիք օրը պայմանավորված է նաև այդ ընտրություններով: Գործող քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը և նրա թիմը սրտացավ և պարտաճանաչ աշխատանքի շնորհիվ ապացուցել են իրենց սերն ու նվիրումը մեր քաղաքին: Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանի պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում Երևանը նոր շունչ ու ոգի է ստացել: Անցյալում են մնացել բազմաթիվ խնդիրներ, որոնք տարիներ շարունակ լուծում չէին ստանում: Բարեկարգվել և գեղեցկացել է մայրաքաղաքը: Մատնանշվել են դեռ չլուծված խնդիրներն ու մարտահրավերները, որոնք անշուշտ առաջիկայում փորձառու թիմի կողմից պետք է իրենց լուծումներն ստանան: Առաջ են քաշվել ապագայի նոր և համարձակ ծրագրեր:
