Արցախի Հանրապետության էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության «Պատմական միջավայրի պահպանության պետական ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ-ի հնագիտական արշավախմբի անդամները մարտ ամսից մաքրման և պեղման աշխատանքներ են իրականացնում Տող գյուղի մելիքական ապարանքի տարածքում՝ Սուրբ Հովհաննես եկեղեցուց հյուսիս գտնվող միջնադարյան դամբարանադաշտում։

ԱՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության զբոսաշրջության վարչության պետ Արման Գրիգորյանի խոսքով ` հնագիտական աշխատանքների ժամանակ այդ տարածքներում բացվում են տապանաքարեր, որոնց մեջ կան նաև Դիզակի հայտնի մելիքների տապաններ։ Պարզվել է, որ դրանց մեջ է նաև հռչակավոր մելիք Եգանի տապանաքարը:

ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության «Պատմամշակութային արգելոց-թանգարանների եւ պատմական միջավայրի պահպանության ծառայություն» ՊՈԱԿ-ից տեղեկացրին, որ պատմական տեղեկությունների համաձայն, Տողում պետք է չորս կամ հինգ մելիքների տապանաքարեր ևս լինեն: Ենթադրվում է, որ դրանք եղել են Սուրբ Հովհաննես եկեղեցու տապանատանը, հավանաբար հենց այդտեղից էլ Մելիք Եգանի տապանաքարը տեղափոխել են եկեղեցու սրահ ու դրել փայտե հատակի տակ՝ կամ որպես շինաքար կամ էլ ոչնչացումից փրկելու նպատակով։

Հնագիտական պեղումների արդյունքում պարզվել է նաև, որ եկեղեցին ունեցել է ևս մեկ մուտք, որը խորհրդային տարիներին շարվել է քարով, ծեփվել ավազի ու ցեմենտի շաղախով: Քանդելուց հետո պարզվել է, որ մուտքը կամարակապ է: Եկեղեցու հյուսիսային պատը և բակը ծածկված են եղել հողի շերտով։ Արդեն ավարտվել են նաև եկեղեցու հյուսիսային բակի մաքրման և պեղման աշխատանքները։ Բացվել են երկու տասնյակից ավելի տապանաքարեր, բոլորն էլ` հիմնականում լավ պահպանված. տեսանելի են տապանների պատկերաքանդակները։ Ինչպես եկեղեցին, այնպես էլ տապանաքարերը թվագրվում են 18-րդ դարով։ Հողի շերտից ազատված տապանաքարերին արձանագրություններ են, խնջույքի պատկերներ, որսի կամ տոնակատարությունների տեսարաններ։

Սուրբ Հովհաննես եկեղեցին «Տողի մելիքական ապարանք» պատմամշակութային արգելոցի տարածքում է և բաց է զբոսաշրջիկների այցելությունների համար:

Նախատեսվում է պեղումներ իրականացնել նաև տապանատան հատվածում և եկեղեցու հարավային բակում՝ մյուս մելիքների տապանաքարերը գտնելու ակնկալիքով: Մելիք Եգանի տապանաքարից բացի, հայտնի է ևս մեկի՝ մելիք Բախտամի տապանաքարի գտնվելու վայրը. այն Տողի Նահատակաց եկեղեցում է, իսկ մյուս մելիքների տապանաքարերի ճակատագրերը դեռևս անհայտ են:
