«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է.

«ՀՀԿ-ում սպասողական իրավիճակը դեռ երկար է շարունակվելու: Բանն այն է, որ առաջիկայում ձեւավորվելիք կառավարությունը էլի ժամանակավոր է լինելու, եւ նշանակվելիք նախարարները պաշտոնավարելու են ընդամենը մեկ տարի: Իսկ դա նշանակում է, որ ՀՀԿ ներսում մեկ տարի անց պաշտոնների համար կրկին մրցավազք է սկսվելու:

Ինչպես պնդում են «Ժողովուրդ»-ի աղբյուրները՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանը իր մտերմիկ շրջապատում հայտարարել է, որ առաջիկայում ձեւավորվելիք կառավարությունը կպաշտոնավարի մինչեւ հաջորդ տարվա ապրիլ, երբ լրանան նախագահական իր լիազորությունները, ուժի մեջ մտնի նոր Սահմանադրությունն ու երկիրը վերջնական անցում կատարի խորհրդարանական կառավարման համակարգի: 

Միայն դրանից հետո կձեւավորվի հիմնական կառավարությունը` քաղաքական նոր կառավարման համակարգի տրամաբանությանը համապատասխան: Այս փաստը, բնականաբար, ՀՀԿ-ականների մի մասն ուրախությամբ է ընդունել, քանի որ հույս ունի մեկ տարվա ընթացքում այնպես անել, որ պաշտոն ստանա, իսկ ոմանք էլ տխրել են, քանի որ կասկածում են կրկին կառավարության կազմում լինելու հեռանկարին: 

Ի դեպ, այս ամենով պայմանավորված՝ հավանական է, որ մեկ տարվա կյանք ունենա նաեւ ՀՀԿ-ՀՅԴ ձեւավորվելիք կոալիցիան, եւ ինչպես պնդում են «Ժողովուրդ»-ի աղբյուրները, հիմա ՀՅԴ-ն բանակցություններ է վարում, որպեսզի փաստաթղթավորված երաշխիքներ ստանա առաջիկա հինգ տարում կոալիցիայի կազմում լինելու մասին»:
